most Southasian women living overseas are alone and are prone to depression and suicide,and take drastic measures like this.They don't have their extended families ,support system and are cut off emotionally.Traditionally Indian women faced more problems but expectations were low and they eventually tackled everything with patience and emerged stronger mothers and wives.
What is this war of words here. Such incedents happen in India every day. Isn't suicides common in the US too. Why such a clamour. Does a US tag turn the browsers crazy????????? The investigation is still incomplete. Till ten all of you want to go on guessing and posting?? How mean of you folks. Let their souls rest in peace.
sad that many citizens of foreign origin are now jobless due to economic slow down. this case may be due to economic problems. GOI should help return and resettlement of indian families who have taken US citizenship. some of NRIs have made investments in property in india. they should come back. they have better chances in india than US.

I doubt that this has anything to do will economy or financial stress ... usually when a guy has financial stress, he could kill his family and then end his life .... here, apparently the wife did all that.

suicides have happened and it's not govt's job to prevent suicides .... some people kill themselves for failed love, inability to succeed, lose money in stocks, or even if India loses a cricket match
