this is a good article not bcoz it raises war pitch, but bcoz it gives an almost accurate picture of what is in store for india. some of us have always been warning people of this scenario, but as the article rightly points out our govt's pacifist attitude could lead us to our doom. the indian govt does not realise that we live in a not so friendly and trustworthy neighbourhood. and neither can we help our cause much by trying to initiate friendly talks with our neighbours bcoz of the very violent and unstable nature of these civilizations which have surrounded us since the last 1000-1500 yrs. It does not mean that we should be a authoritarian state with a military mind set but a state which is firm in convictions and which can and has the will and capability to exercise its rights without fear of any existential threats. I hope this govt has learnt anything at all from history.

Are these reasons enough for China to take an unwarranted attack against India when both the countries are nuclear nations? Logically, the chances are very less for either of the nation to attack the another. Any war at present between India & China has a high probability of being blown up as a full fledged nuclear war. If these are the over-whelming reasons for a nation to go to war, then US would have been attacking one resource rich nation after another to boost up its economy and rally its population. This is too simplistic.
i do not agree that due to recession china will attack on india if this is so india will attack on her neghbours. but to stop developing india she can do and we have to accept that she is capable to do this,therefore,our govt.,politician,army,and all indians are required to keep open their eyes and ears always.............
