Get rid of the Marathi politicians from Mumbai and hand it over to the northern bureaucrats. What a shame that the most important city of this country is ruled by some stupid patils, deshmukhs, bhujbals and chavans. Mumbai should be made a union territory like chandigarh & Delhi.

first solve the problem of kidnapping and then murder of the victim. beautify your cities. then organise in such a way that all the people get employed there and have no interest to go to neighbouring state for employment. you can visit punjab and harayana and see how they have beatified the cities and even road side dhabas attaract more customers than starred (one star, two star or three or four or five star) hotels. the dhabas in your state envourage flies, mosquitoes and many more variety of pests fit for studies by sceintists and there seems to be no distinction of city and village as both are equally dirty.

I advice you that first get rid of the gavar peoples like laloo / mayawati Mulayam If you got sucess in this then you need not to woory about maharastara Actually all of indians they should get rid of all currupt leaders like above menstioned
chennai also has some problems like this during heavy monsoon plus acute water shortage during summer. but last 3-4 yrs was totally good. its mandatory for each housr/flat to harvest the rain water. this avoids water clogging in the streets. harvesting rainwater is no big deal..dig a big pit in ur garden fill with sand pebbles to filter the mess out and let the water join the underwater system its mandatory in every house in chennai

Arre bhau barish nahin aaya tho chillathe ho!!! Agar aa gaya tho bhi chillathe ho... yeh kaai kartha thumi....
I used to come mumbai for official purpose over many years...The hard core fact is our all OLD INDIAN cities are in deep mess which can't be blamed because many reasons from the lack of planning.....to common man behaviours.. So there is no point to blame each other Govt, authorities, peopleand politicians...and No solution also.
DEAR ALL lets ask our Govt that Forget these so-called metro cities...choose the Tier-II & Tier-111 cities in all the region and divert all the investments and encourage people to migrate the newly planned cities...things will be balanced more growth
Parallelly we need the damn super fast bullet trains and Expressways between these cities enough....enough India will beat every country and the existing so-called cities authorities will have the time to clean all the messess.... How..
Put ERP for all the private vehicles...road conjustion reduce...Promote more inter crossing elvated bridged & Underground MRT like singapore...when all the business concentrating towards Tier-2&3 cities
Think...just imagine the present situation and the way of handling issues are going on...going on..what will be the position after 20 years in Mumbai. I am scared...

Re: How many illegal Bangladeshis live in Mumbai slums?
by Deshbhakt on Jul 09, 2009 12:29 AM
Sunil Dutt traitor, personally went to ration office and issued ration cards to lakhs of illegal Bangladeshi's living in Bandra slums and near railway tracks.
People must be blamed for part of mess that happens during monsoon. I have noticed especially in Bangalore, citizens close the shoulder drains adjacent to their compound that are meant to dispose rainwater runoff from the roads. Due to this the rainwater stays on road till it finds next vent resulting in flooding of roads and the bitument roads are not water resistant and wear out due to continous stagnation of water. When we try to educate such people, they get offended and get ready to fight.Just shows how selfish and narrow minded our people are. No use blaming the authorities every time. If those who want to cover up the drains for getting parking space or for any other reason should make adequate provision for rainwater to discharge through the gutter by providing a inlet, most of the problems would be solved including bad roads.

A strict regulation has to come. The authorities should announce a fine if the house owners haven't arranged for such provisions to clear rainwater.
why BMC is blamed all the time, we the citizens of Mumbai are also to be blamed. We throw Plastics and other waste materials on road that time we don't think this will effect us in rainy season.

Indians are very self centered people. They can't tolerate any trouble. But are insensitive to the problems they are causing to others.

how abt the more than 2 milliom slumdogs who came in from Bangladesh as refugees and are enjoying the benefits of ration cards and citizenship and are complicating the slum problem every passing month ?? why should Mumbai suffer for the policy of one commie govt in West Bengal ?

thats true, Who should be blamed,,,The marathis who are not doing sucide as per the rate which they have to maintain, or the biharis who do not have anything to do with mumbai, delhi or India except to show that they can live in hell on this planet or the other people who have been forced to migrate to mumbai by the government, which funds and develope only few cities in a country of 6th rank in area in the world,,, better to blame the almighty who pours so much rain,,, There is no solution of any problem in India as all are trying to fill their own pocket,,, all are selfish
