Deja Vu - It is Italian
by Chandran Ganapathy on Jul 07, 2009 02:28 PM  | Hide replies

Italians are hotheadded - nothing new. Their thinking is done by a brain which is at the junction of two limbs called - The Legs. So this brain is activated by the mere sight of a high heeled shoe.
The poor (rich!) PM of Italy is only a reflection of his country men. Here is one on the Italians:
Apparently they have an afternoon break from 1 to 5pm. After lunch, they make love. After the evening session of work, they go back home and make love to their wives!

I do not think so.

I have visited Italy so many times and have worked with many of my counterparts in Italy. They are have been very professional.

Well, I do agree that there could be few elements like in India too.

But, pls do not comment on things that you don't know.

Guys - don't take things so seriously. Read Don Camillo and see how the Italians themselves laugh at themselves.
Don't we have Sardarji jokes - but the Sardars I have met are all Super Intelligent and great guys.

I agree. Italy is a cultured and traditional country where majority is very conforming.

It woul;d have been far better for Sonia to attend the G-8 summit in her native Italy. She would not only be at home but could also share affinity with the Italian leadership.

Am sure all our corrupt politicians lead the same kind of lifestyle, only difference is that Berlusconi does it in the open.

Berlusconi lives like ancient Indian kings. Protecting dharma and at the same time enjoying life. So it is nothing wrong if you think that way. My best wishes.

Nicely put!
by RightSaid Fred on Jul 07, 2009 01:36 PM  | Hide replies

This is the stark difference between India and the West. Our simplicity and honesty, is perceived as a weakness by our enemies. Dr. Singh is a model leader. A living example of how a leader should conduct himself. We love you, Dr. Singh. You are doing a sterling job as the Prime Minister and hope you continue for the next term as well - no matter what the barking d0gs mights might say.

Indians mostly do not have any respect or adulation for educated, honest, men of character..the reason is self explanatory..all the role models in this nation are goons, black marketers,looters,characterless..

A moron who was responsible for thousands of farmers death is considered role model leader in our country. How pathetic my country can become? If you don't know what I am talking about, check out how Bt cotton imported from US to India, due to bilateral agreement between bush and mms destroyed lives of vidharbha farmers.

Yes we are simple, that is the reason UP's CM has installed hundreds of statues of her party symbol and her own statues. We are honest, thats the reason we are among the most corrupt countries in the world. Dr.Singh is a model leader, that is the reason he kept mum when his party dispatched loads and loads of currency to buy MPs during trust vote. He is a living example of how a leader should betray his own community by using the CBI to acquit the murderer Jagdish Tytler.

No other prime minister in ths world will immediately agree to feighning a heart related problem and getting admitted to a hospital, just so that Raul Gandgiji will assume the role of the PM. Then and only then, can Madmohan fulfil his duties to the great Gandhgi family completely, there by becoming obsolete in politics.
