Any excellence in "HAASYA- COMEDY" to be named after him, what if he has not been conferred with any - HE HIMSELF is AN AWARD - He is the yard stick for comediens. As long as Tamil lives and Tamilians live His fame would never fade. He is Immortal. He is the Grammar Book for the languagaae of Comedy.
Nagesh-should have awarded Padma awards .It is a pity and shame on the governments for not conferring the deserving titles to the departed great comedian.He was the King of Comedies.The Nagesh and Manorama 'jodi'is famous just like Shivaji and Padmini.He is an actor,dancer,comedian,and a villain too.I remember he was seriously suffering from liver problems by which he overcame by his proper medical care. I share this deepest grief with my family members and pray the Almighty to rest his good soul in peace for ever.
Nagesh, the actor of par excellence should have been given the highest award from Govt. of India. The poor congress govt would never do any justice to its role. So his not getting an award is nothing new. Probably Congress would have given award, had he shown as a congress sympathiser. But I must say there can be no one who has knowledge and competency to understand and appreciate Nagesh, the legend in Tamil Cinema. His dance, humour both body and dialogue, quickness in movements and so on. Mr. Nagesh Who can be equal to you?

Simply a great actor. When he shares the screen with MGR/Sivaji/Kamal or Rajni, we fail to see other artist and only watch Nagesh. He was so thin yet he was screenful. Great actor, western dancer, fantastic natural comedian and he certainly stands top in dialogue modulation and delivery. Just can digest that he died. May his soul rest in piece. It is also sad that his son anandbabu is suffering from Cancer. The man who made us laugh for nearly 35 years had his personal life full of sorrows. WELL DONE NAGESH. There is no capable judge in india to give you any award. Still funny to find Akshay / Ash were given Padma. DOGS.

Nagesh- A Saga of Pure and Healthy comedy had come to an end and the vaccum thus created can't be filled by any existing followers. NAAGESH IS NAAGESH AND HE CAN NEVER BE REPLACED, forget about aping to a FRACTIONAND HE SHOULD have BEEN awarded WITH Padma Shree and coveted awards for which he had qualified long............back, and it is an absolute shame and pity on the governments for not conferring the deserving titles to the departed great comedian. He was the Uncrowned King of Comedies..Apart from comedian he is an actor,dancer,and a villain too. It is great loss to the Cinema Industry, I personally wish to share this deepest grief with my family members and pray the Almighty to rest his good soul in peace for ever.
May God give enough strength to Anand Babu and his brothers to bear this irreparable loss.

When we think of comedy always you are there.. This thouhgt will be carried on for centuries from now.. When u started your carrier, there was no computer.. Only the minds of people were there... Now tech had made an opportunity for me to record your position... You will be always remebered in the Tamil film world.. Not just fim world.. It is on all the hearts of Tamilians.. Don't want to restrict the feelings within the Tamil world.. You started your life from karnataka and marked your humour thru out all hearts who like comedy... And now the time has come for u to leave just the body not the soul... And u will be remembered by all the future generations who will be learning about u on paper and computers.. Be proud that u made a great mark, which nobody will find an eraser.. You are the greatest one, whose fame is not being recognised by the novice world.. You are always within the hearts of the one who know you and the ones who are going to know you..
