It was reported in press that PM went personally to renew his driving license on a sunday for which RTO office was kept open with all officers is attendance. Indian Express in its editorial appreciated the gesture and desired that all VVIPS to follow in the foot steps of PM. Whom is IE & MMS trying to impress? For ordinary citizens RTO staff would not attend even few minutes beyond office hours and in some cases even during office hours. If all VVIPS are to follow as suggested by IE, then the RTO office would have to remain open on all sundays. It was a cheap publicity of no consequence except that the incidence has generated sufficient fodder to the various Laughter shows on TV, where MMS would be mimicked visiting RTO office, Fish Market, Sabjzi market, Kabadi etc.

What would you prefer, that they visit during normal hours and with people like you also there at the same time. The security will push you out and you can come to forums like these and complain about it? These VVIPS are also humans. Initially its good to be surrounded by security but they cant ever lead a natural free life like we do.

they got to pay price for being celebrity. we have right to criticise them, after all they are enjoying perks of public money not us.
