Why Sonia Gandhi?
by Denise Sequeira on Jan 15, 2009 07:09 PM  | Hide replies

Why the hell is Sonia Gandhi going? MMS and wife fine, but why Sonia? What about our president...even though she is a nominal head she is still the First citizen of our country. None of these politicians have done anything for the country.

They will attend all these functions, but ask them to roll up their sleeves and get down to brass tacks, and all they will do is give a perfectly worded speech.

And if we have to send a business tycoon, shouldn't we send someone like Tata, who is more charismatic than Ambani and definitely more philanthropic?

For your information, invitations are not sent out with individual names written on them. Usually, invitations are passed out to the nations through certain channels (a lot of times through the foreign office) inviting several dignitaries of a certain standing in the country.

If the US was inviting people personally, they would invited just the PM and the President. It is only in our country that the ruling party President is given so much importance.

You are speaking as if all these 4 have been personally invited and no one is shooting their head off here. So maybe u shud get ur facts right.

It's a shame but Sonia Gandhi is considered sort of, like the queen... MMS is also to blame for it - the way he behaves like a puppet in front of her, it's not a very encouraging scene.
If they had only invited Sonia and not MMS would have been a disgrace. They understood this, perhaps.
If India is wiser now, the Congress or shameful UPA will not come to power again.

What will our President do there?

Pratibha Patil is useless. She is only good for delivering useless speeches on TV on Aug 15th and Jan 26th.

Why Mukesh Ambani and Sonia?
by ramamoorthi venkatraman on Jan 15, 2009 02:07 PM  | Hide replies

What have these two done for India. Has the US gone mad to give importance to such traitors.

Reliance accounts should come under scrutiny of theIndian Government to expose the fraudulent deals and practices followed by the so called business tycoon.

Does any politician has the guts to do this instead to be his lace!

Stop talking about religions. We are all adding fuel to the fire on this forum. Just ignore the fools who talk on the basis of religion & use abusive words for their leaders. Remeber when we any individual is using words for any leader it means he is abusing the majority people who have elected him from their region or area. This means we are again dividing the people. Try to respect the people, avoid discussing religion & reservations and think of what we can do in the system to avoid misuse of power. We people have great strength. try using it in constructive manner. Just try to keep our own house in order without hurting others. Take help from neighbours & vice versa to protect this house.
Jai Hind.

I am totally agree with True Nationalist person. He/ She is absolutely right. What the Congress has done for Muslims? Give me some proofs that Congress has done something for the second majority of this nation. Atleast they have some sympathy towards the minority community as against the BJP which totally oppose Muslim.
