India should not enter into any deal with a islamic country. these countries have record of bac stabing india because of their hatered for a hindus india. for example iran has always voted against indian interst & alligned with pakistan at the UN.India must use its economic power to put these countries in their place. the fact is today the world is diveded between progressive, liberal & democratic nations like hindu. cristain & jewish nations & regressive islamic nation. it is better we align with progressive liberal & democratic foces instead of islamic countries & communist countries.

rightly said, Iran never supported india,s cause nor in future i think it will support india,s cause and saudi arabia always helped pakistan financialy in the last 3 wars. lessons should be learnt from past mistakes and keep a distance from these islamic countries.better late than never.
After independence India split bcoz Jinnah & Nehru messed up for their selfishness...end of the day "Goondaas & rascals" took over after independence & still continuing
yes we must wash the feet of bush. if bush would not have intervened in afganistan we indians would have been fighting the taliban today & the proxy war of pakistan would be more severe. bush is hated by a certain section because his intervention has put paid to the grand designs of the suppoters of taliban to establish islamic rule in the subcontinent. when america was helping the taliban to fight the russians in afganistan it was an epitome of virtue. the moment they succeded in afganistan their friend became their biggest enemy. we must learn from the arab history where the establisher of thier religion fled battle field to save himself & then aligned with the enemy to win the wars & subsequently devour the friend who helped him to win the war. so theyare repeating the history.& we have our antinational commies supporting the terrorist groups like the taliban & hamas etc.
while it looks good on paper, india does not have the requisite staying power to do it... and usa wont be of any help.. and china would surely attack is under the pretex of helping pakistan..

i agree with u abt chinese army and their nuclear forces but china does not have a quality airforce and navy worth mentioning when compared even with india. and when it comes to nuclear weapons, if china dares use them on india, they can be rest assured that they will be bombed back to stoneage by both Russia and USA on this pretext. So the best chinese can dare to hurt india is in terms of economic relations and some covert actions. Otherwise they dont have the b-a-l-l-s to launch a direct military attack on india.
if china attacks us, USA and Russia have enough scores to settle with china (china containment policy is beneficial to both USA and Russia) and surely they will use this as a pretext to attack china and they will be history for sure, wont they? China knows about this, that is why they didnt interfere even during the kargil conflict. If they were so powerful as they make pretend to be then india would have been grass on several previous occasions like during 1971, 1984, 1999 ...etc.

No Country has permanent friends or permanent enemies but only permanent interests. That is the basic principle of diplomacy. The Chinese will not interfere on behalf of Pak. At the most they will try to wrest some bordering areas like Arunachal but the possibilities are remote.

Gone through it. It may be their plan but they have no skills to implement it. Pakis themselves have so much trouble in their country that will take them ages to look a mughalstan.
when us and ussr were super powers then what was the need of cold war....whatever said is not done,,,,and US.India and china can never go along as super power as conflict of interst within them will prop up....there cannot be many leaders...there will be only one boss and in near future it looks to be US and if they enter into some war with iran or pakis or indian region they are going to have their power crushed and then china alone can be the super power for next generation to come....india is far far away from US and china.....let us be more practical....if india join hands with either russia or china or us....it can sustain its growth..else it is imposible for us to become super power....we should rather have cordial relation with china and US and wait for them to make mistake of their own and india not getting involved into any of that mistakle and then take advantage...thats the only way india can become super power....

The world economy is now dependent on India and China therefore we already are counted as a super power leaving nuclear arsenal aside.
Regarding super power of wars, I dont think its even necessary or India to be in contention as long as we can defend ourselves from Porkis. China will want to beat us in an economic war than military. Its not in their interest to invade India and then be subdued by Russia or even US.
Mr Bidwai is being totally naive. How does he presume that Pakistan will co-operate in anything. The only reason that they did accept facts about the 26/11 attackers was that their backs were to the walls due to US Pressure. The taliban is now the new strategy of the Pakistani army to fool the US administration, State Department and Pentagon ( which in my considered opinion is nothing short of an IDIOTIC BUNCH)so that they can continue to make merry on US funds.
Further, this will divert attention to the basic issue that Pakistan is the MOTHERLAND of all terriost activites. All terroists seem to be coming from Pakistan, the funds are coming from Pakistan etc. The Pakistani Army is just letting a democratically elected Govt take the fall for its own nefarious designs to once over take over the country as it did with Afghanistan and under the garb of Talibanisation weild supreme control over the population.
All of this is understood by us ordinary citizens by they continue to make a mockery of established democratic contries like India and US and we are actually to blamee for this whole mess. None of our politicians have any spine and our IAS officers or babus have destroyed this country. We were sabre rattling and taking about a war not knowing our great IAS officers and babus have stalled every defence purchase and even basic night vision equipment that is available is of 1980 vintage. The NSG also fought in Mumbai with outdated arms thanks to our politicians and BABUS
