Impossible without local contacts and involvement
by Mallik Sharma on Feb 25, 2009 08:35 PM

The terror attacks of 26/11 in my opinion are impossible without local involvement, coordination and active support. It is the duty of investigators to find out who and how, and for people to assist them. They must have conducte reccis earlier and might have stayed in the hotels earlier also for long periods. There is no dearth of fanatic Pakistan-supporter Muslim fundamentalists in Bombay. And there might be some underworld elements of whatever religion who will sell the country for a few silver coins too.

Mr Walker
Difficult to believe
by Mr Walker on Feb 17, 2009 02:03 PM

It is difficult to believe that people sitting inside Pakistan got all the information about hotel maps, railways station , roads in Mumbai etc without any support from local people.

Also they had so much weapons on them to carry those and logistics of the same need local support.

I mean tomorrow if the Indian military wants to conduct a raid on terror camp in Pakistan they will need pretty detailed information to be accurate and on target.

"Several people may have had knowledge about the attacks, the IB sources said, but were not directly involved."

Many people knew about the attack, but kept the knowledge to themselves. Who are they? Congress, Rane, Muslim League, SIMI, and who else?

What more internal linkage is required?
by Ram Sharma on Feb 17, 2009 12:34 PM  | Hide replies

They say "barring Fahim Ansari and Sabahuddin Ahmed, no direct local link to the terror attacks has emerged so far". What more internal linkage is required? Without local support and intelligence this type of simulataneous attack at three different places was not possible.

Do u know that it was Rajiv, who opened the gates of Ram Mandir at the disputed Babri masjid and allowed Puja there? Advani cannot b blamed for this act, which was done to counter his foolish earlier act of amending the Constitution against Shahbano's win in SC in a Talak case. After this Babri Action Committee was formed by Shahabudeen. Earlier no one had bothered about the Ram Mandir or the Babri Masjid.
