Local Links to 26/11
by Pinaki Sur on Feb 17, 2009 12:24 PM  | Hide replies

The post of a Police Commissioner is a very high level administrative post. The post is highly dignified and performs with very big responsibilities. It sounds anomalous if a Police Commissioner speaks something in media and later retracts. It is, by and large, certain that Mr Hassan Gafoor must have retracted from what he said about local links to 26/11 because of pressure created by our corrupt politicians. It is rubbish what IB claims as “there has been no DIRECT local link to 26/11”. Let IB define what it means by a direct involvement. The entire world knows that none of the terrorists of 26/11 were Indian Nationals. A link is a link and should not be distinguished under the heads DIRECT and INDIRECT. A person who knew about the conspiracy yet did not inform the administration and passively allowed it to happen should also be treated as his DIRECT involvement in support of terrorism. Is he also not responsible of killing 173 innocent people? Any kind of unbiased investigation by IB will definitely prove hands of local links to 26/11 in its various forms.

Pinaki, irrespective of one's position in the government hierarchy, they all have to bow in front of their political masters. Its a fact. Lets face it. Sad, but true...

can the establishment plese speak with one voice on the investigations going on.there seem to be a multitude of agencies all having their own agendas in doing the probe and not trying to get at the root of the teror infrastructure with the indian administration writing funny dosiers for its neighbouring country to read as a script of a novel during tea time.

The Secular establishment speaks with one voice when they have to denigrate Hindus. The secular establishment (nay, the secular brigade) spoke in one voice in the case of Malegaon blasts, even though most of the time the stories were concocted, because Hindus were at the receiving end. Hemant Karkare was the leader of this secular establishment and today he is a National Hero of the secular brigade. Same goes for the `Talibanisation' issue after the Mangalore Pub attack. You had a Congress Minister exhorting for `Pub Bharo' andolan (the Father of the Nation, who led the freedom struggle and the Salt Satyagraha Movement must be squirming). Establishment, my foot.

Its not that IB has no proof, but let them accept that IB has no idea whether there was local involvement or not. IB u-l-l-u k-e p-a-t-t-e-h. Here also minority appeasement and congress politics.

How come some pakis managed to hold the financial capital hostage for days without any local support. It's just not going down well in the belly.Either IB has been instructed by the pseudo UPA Govt not to mention the names or IB has lost all its logical prowess to pursue the case.Even a child could tell that such a high voltage bloody drama couldn't be staged without any local support.

this is not the first time that IB/RAW have failed. inafct they dont do any work other than drawing bulky salaries and perks and allowances. and public money invested on them is mere waste. this is high time to change the policies for these agencies and fix responsibilities at higher levels.

Without local link how can 26/11 be executed so perfectly. U ask any one on the street and u will know the truth...a local link exists and no one can deny it. Gaffor needs to wake up and do his duty....

If you can beat the offer, there would be people interested.
