If PM had to call doctors from other hospitals why he choose AIIMS. Dr A. Sampath Kumar the present head at AIIMS is very capble doctor and has performed over 8000 open heart and bye pass surgeries.you cannot ignore his teams contribution at AIIMS.he is very soft spoken person and highly devoted to his job.

We also had Naresh Trehan as one of international famous cardiac surgeon.He was also ignored.Do some lobby works behind the scene for doing such a surgery??Even one doctor by the name of Chittaranjan Ranawat performed the surgery of the knee of AB vAJPAYEE.when competent doctors were present in AIIMS.

The reason why Dr Panda was chosen as surgeon above everybody else have been already stated to the media and for the benefit of the country's citizens. I hope you have read them.
I appreciate Dr Reddy's modesty and humility and wise decisions in advising the correct course of action for the PM.He has never been in the limelight and never ran after popularity or praise. These sincere and dedicated men are the jewels of India.Several experts skilled cardiologists are available in India such as Dr Venugopal of AIIMS, Dr Naresh Treharne of Escorts, Dr Jawali of Wockhardt, Bangalore, Dr Somaraju of CARE Hyderabad etc.All are world class surgeons, each expert in his own way. Dr Reddy picked the correct person for PM's surgery. There in lies his great wisdom and skill. Thanks Dr Reddy for the job splendidly done with precision.

For God sake, Don't place Dr Somaraju at par with dr venugopal. Only because this somaraju is a Telugu like Venugopal, doesn't guarantees him to be that good. Dr Trehan and Dr Venugopal are sure for World class but this Somaraju can turn into Ramalinga Raju anytime(of Satyam DE/FAME)
