Just wait and watch. Media including Rediff may side with anti-national Congress and its UPA and gag the voices against them! These were at their worst during emergency! This time each and every constituent of UPA will get a good kick. Congress, which has been going downhill except in 2004, will have a free fall. Even in 2004, it was the idiocity and arrogance of highly corrupt Pramod Mahajans' which made Congress recover a bit!
If election is the criteria to do a work, it should take place each alternate year, so that a common man is looked after by the govt. otherwis govt. is caring only for leaders and govt. servanats. Others are just goats to be butchered.
Lalu is Bihar's Railway Minister. Jaffer Sharief was Karnakata's Railway Minister. Velu is MoS for Railways only for Tamil Nadu.
We should appreciate the patience of our fellow citizens from the North East. See what development works have been taken in the North East during the past several years? They are not protesting, so the netas are taking them for granted.
For visiting any of the north eastern states, you have rail only till New Jalpaiguri. Then it is only road. On the other hand, China is going to bring its rail network till the border in Nathu La. We do not even have proper roads on our side. This is not going to do good to anybody. We should not wait for protests and violence to give the North East a decent right to life.
There should be world class hospitals, institutes for higher education and rail and air link to all the north eastern states. Let students from all over India go there and learn. That will be true National Integration
I wonder when we will get a truly Indian neta who will really cater to the needy sections of the society.

North east is providing the rich "harvest" as desired by the pope--so why waste resoureces
First of all this a way of taking credit for mere sanctioning a project and not allocating funds or any plans whatsover, but by dumping on to new government thats going to come. Not surprised if Congress returns all these projects will get another 5 delay to start! Remember these projects will be headlines of UPA govt's. achievements in coming General election campaign. 60 years gone, politicians know how to keep the people of this country dreaming

Vikas! A little learning is a dangerous thing! What you depicted of is a very narrow outlook! "Sanatan Dharma " is more than what one can conceive of and is not guided by 'manusmriti' ! Its not your fault! The wisdom (not education only) has waned to near zero amongst the 'socalled hindus' who claim to be a hindu but does not know on what are the hinduism principles based! Therefore keep your cmments within yourself! Know it now that the western world is trying to adopt many bright principles of 'sanatan dharma'! Just look around and know it!
