Politics of hatred
by vikas sethi on Dec 30, 2009 08:07 PM  | Hide replies

All through Pakistan’s history, it tried to desist and deplore everything Indian.
They changed their text books, altered history, degraded the Indians to prove that they are different and superior to them.

They named their missiles after Afghans who invaded India little realizing that Geography remained same over centuries. So, the Afghans, in effect, raided and looted the very parts of India that today is called Pakistan. In all probability, it was this loot and torture that made people covert to 1slam.

With the Talibanisation of Pakistan, Is history poised to repeat itself? Is Pakistan on the brink of adopting the Afghan way of life? 60 years of lies and half truths later, has the circle of conversion, started centuries ago, finally coming to fruitation?

Tragedy is, even the moderate and Sufi 1slam would be on the brink of extinction.

This is the result of politics of hatred cultivated over the years.

GOOD analysis of the problem that Pak faces

But the fact is THAT one cannot expect Pakistan to change its ways since it has been taken over by radical Islam, THAT is , Wahabi Islam that ptecahes hatred against so called kafirs and infidels

Where are the moderates?? They are overtaken by the radicals. Hatred will only lead them to self-destruction and that has been predicted

Thanks Biligiri,

I wanted to point that when people move away from their roots they loose their identity.

Pakistan had similar culture like India. But over the years in their zeal to prove that they r different from India they brainwashed their generations into believing that they are of Arabic decent.

They began to worship and laud the same people who destroyed their culture and way of life - their thinking and even their religion. Paki rulers in pursuit of hatred for India actually turned out too clever by half.

They have just destroyed their country. Pak faces population problem and cannot control it. Poverty is increasing, they have more & more illiterate youths piled up and terrorism is the easy solution for these youths.

Religion comes above everything else. There is no rationalism. They have no ideals to look upto. So every1 from Ataturk to Saddam to Gaddafi to Osama are their heros - none of them are Pakistanis.

The passing generation has failed them & present generation has yet to come to terms. They dont even have reins to pick up. There is no industry. Pak has survived 60 years merely by begging.

They have no strategic thinking. Army with its blinkered vision decides the course for Pak. They feel they can keep begging for funds based on their strategic location between central Asis & Asia.

There is no one to guide these stupid people. Future bleak

They need to change their mindset which sadly does not seem to be happening. Their mission still is driven by revenge for the kafirs.

It is a fruitless war for them and in the end they have turned out to be the biggest losers losing not only their people, but also respect across the world.

I am afraid that hoping for some change there will be a miracle......

One Kashmir has brought Pakistan to this level - Had there been no kashmir problem then no issue & probably Pak would have been economicaly strong then india due to its low population compared to india

If Pak keeps going like this for next few years and wins will be good. Because if they loose, next target is us, so better it keeps happening for some years to weaken Pak and then Pak govt. wins the war.

Anguish !
by AKB on Dec 30, 2009 06:47 PM  | Hide replies

This is the way the terrorists are exhibiting their anguish against the Pak, American joint operation carried out In pakistan and Afghanistan.
Though it don't look sectarian violence, but innocent people have been killed in this operation.
It is unIslamic.
We all right minded Muslim must condemn this type of of violent behaviour.
We must condemn Pakistan and American army for their barbarian air strikes against Pak civilians also.

AKB

U must know that PAK is reaping only what it has sown all these years across the world and is now getting a taste of its own medicine. Of course its sad that in bomb blasts as happend in Karachi innocents get killed. That should not happen.

But the point is that their army and ISI created terror groups incl the killers as in Karachi and are getting paid back after they took their fight to them

Another point is that the American forces attacks are confined to the terrorists *(and not Pak people) who what happens as in such cases mix among the innocents and use them ag attacks from Americans.

Its UnIslamic for the terrorists to indulge in hatred and kill people. ISLAM does not teach that, isn't it?? These terror demons think they go to Jaanat, but they wont and that is for sure, isn't it???

One can understand the reason for your anguish; afterall, for you guys, country is secondary and religion is first. If some M dies in Pak you would cry here, when thgousands of H died in J&K, no one ever rised a voice. What sort humans are you. The days of Pak are over and it is destiny for all those who believe in terror concept of wahabi culture

This is a very bad form of sarcasm. They might have done this attack in Pak, but remember the victims are common people like you and me ; its especially heinous since it has also caused deaths of children. I wish you grow some compassion towards other human beings.

Avinash.
