It is a facinating experience to go through them( You can access all Study Materials, suggested answers etc of the Institute of Chartered Accountants) and really interesting to have solutions to difficult problems from experienced people. It itself is a tutor to cleat these examinations.Be it for learning subjects or reqading fictions it is a tremendous experience at the lowest cost.

Conventional books cannot be replaced
by samarendu saha on Dec 31, 2009 10:06 AM

Convention books cannot be replaced by E-book. Initially it may have some edge over the paper books. Side effect will side appearing once it become affordable and widely used. Once it was thought that poly-bag will replace all paper and bags but now we are going back to jute and paper bag.

Read less, digest more, share the good
by Hago Kiruttinan on Dec 31, 2009 12:53 AM

... reading good things is important and more important is digesting the good and rejecting the bad and most important making it of practical use and delightful and happy to one and all.
But I have seen in life that most people who read more and more become less and less communicative. Some become more and more self obssessed and silently proud. Some become revolutionaries (even when it is not required!) and end up harming others with their pseudo-intelligence.

at last an article on ebook reader
by PRADEEP on Dec 30, 2009 07:47 PM  | Hide replies

At last i see an article indicating a photo of an ebook reader in rediff. This thing is on for about 4-5years around the world except india.
FM should actually levy less exice tax on such electronic product and help the decrease in cost of the product. A product which can decrease the use of paper.
