i really appreciate rediff for bringing some news about nature, animal life, they are also part of our society and should be taken care by human being who can modify their life.
The great thing about India has always been what might be called the great Indian bazaar: the whole country seen as a marketplace, or a village haat, where people can freely come and go, to buy and sell, to earn a livelihood, to mingle with each other, and to raise families, in whatever part of this republic they choose to do so.
That's the paradox. The republic, in order to be a republic, must accept the principle and practice of regional autonomy. But if the legitimate demand for regional autonomy shades into narrow parochialism and exclusivist chauvinism, the republic will be destroyed. The great Indian bazaar will go bust.

This too is a national problem, cruelty to animals. This too destroys our environment, our democracy and this our nastiness is an all true grim reality that is evident in all levels of life in India. Therefore doing every little bit to restore harmony with nature and her creatures cannot but help our advance as human beings.

ravinderji the issues that you claim facing the nation has been created by you, us, our people and the cronies that we have elected. These poor bears did not ask to be put there by us for our entertainment. So when something good is done for these poor souls and its being reported then atleast zip it up if you cannot atleast appreciate a new life being given to another species.

Well said Rishi Kumar. People like Malhotra, and communists in general believe that only human beings have a right to live on this earth. They treat other species with contempt and argue that the one and only relevant issue in this world is two squares of meal. They conveniently forget the fact that once his belly is full, human beings start demanding other things and their demands goes on and on. To achieve that they kill each other, other species and the entire flora and fauna. What is alarming is that they justify their action saying that human beings have a right upon everything on this mother earth.
