i guess congress cannot go back on its promise. in the statement given yesterday they didnt tell that they are not forming new state. just discussions about various things like debt, boundaries etc need to happen. you cant expect that they can be decided in 1-2 days as it concerned to 1 whole state

What makes people angry is the betrayal. Didnt Sonia join hands with TRS and promise separate telangana before 2004 elections? Didnt Babu join hands with TRS and shared seats with them in 2009 elections? Didnt YSR say, if Telangana has to be carved, it is possible only for congress before 2009 polls?

This is misleading news.Pl stop giving this kind of news which increases the gulf between people. The present statement main aim seems to be to restore peace in AP and go on process for Telangana. The earlier one was a kneejerk reaction to KCR's fast and made in huriied manner with out thinking of consequences and talking to people from the Andhra and royal seema regions. I am from Andhra and I think this statement does not stop formation of Telangana. But it should be seen that separate state is not possible with KCR type of hatred mongering. I am sure with in two years the separate will be formed in all respects and it is important that student should become pawns in this political game. People like KCR should be thrown out of the state and then state can be devided.It cant be separated under atmosphere of hatred. It is possible to make Andhra people reconcile to the separate state.

Whenever the topic of Telangana is raised, many of us blindly support Andhra or Telangana based on where we come from. Not sure how many really think of why the demand for separate state has been there for such a long time. The 2 major reasons why the demand has been pending for so many years WATER AND HYDERBAD. People around the state have earned and invested in and around Hyderabad so there is a concerns about the safety of the investment if the state is separated while both the major rivers in our state flow mostly through Telangana. Below are some facts that are few reasons for the demand. Sentiments can be foolish but not facts. There are 10 districts in Telangana, 9 in Andhra and 4 in Rayalaseema. Out of these 7 districts in Telangana, 3 in Andhra and 1 in Rayalaseema are considered severely backward districts which means 70% of districts in Telangana are backward while in Andhra it is 35% and in Rayalaseema it is 25%. Apart from these there are some areas in all parts of the state which are also backward. 45% of the state income comes from Telangana region. When it comes to utilization of funds, the share of Telangana is only 28%. Normally canals are dug to supply water to the crops from rivers for cultivation. The amount of land cultivated through canals in just Guntur district is more than the land cultivated with canals in entire Telangana region.

In India, Bihar,UP and other Eastern states are considered backward despite the Major Indian Rivers flowing through them. So if these states want to get seperated from India and want to become independent countries (bcos small countries like Singapore are doing better) will you allow them? Also, Please don't put up your own statistics. In coastal and Rayalaseema also there are many backward areas. Do you want to give them seperate state to each area? Tommorrow if Telengana forms only some districts will flourish (bcos natural resources) then would you allow the other districts to form other states? Seperation is not easy to accept to any heart. Afterall we stand strong united only.

The only REC of AP is in Warangal (T-region), the central university is in Hyd, many universities and Industries are in AP only, Did AP people ever complained about it or tried to bring them to Andhra / Rayalaseema region? As you complained that all the money is spent to andhra regions only then how come studios, industries etc are all developed in Hyd? Where is the money invested? which region? HYD which is in Telengana only. So don't try to blame anybody for the backwardness. When minds are backward the opinion stands backward. Don't get cheated by people like KCR. Because for him only his family is imp none others. He won't care u a damn!

Mr., Hyderabad was not develped by you guys, its already state capetial of Telangana region before independence, For you info earlier we have seperate balance sheet for income & expense form Telangana region and reset balanse sheet for expenses/income. later that shows there is more income from Telangana area and govt expense is very less in Telangana area. Then smart Andhra politician started single balance sheet. REC is not given by sate Govt it is being funded by Central govt and mind your info only sigle REC will not do all the development. Seperate form us make your state seperatly live peacefully who stopping you and at the same time leave us and let our people live peacefully without intervesion of sema and andhra people.

Hyderabad was capital of Nizam, princly state before. And history says that Nizam looted all your telengana income and used to spend a luxurious life and developed hyderabad. But today's Hyd is well known for other reasons not just for your old hyd aspects. To cope up the reputation to the same level for years is not easy thing. Who gave the REC doesn't matter here. Your seperate balance sheet is being rediculed below. Boss, we personally don't get benefited from being with Telengana. We think that being big makes us stronger. Otherwise we would have said 'go away'!

Every compnay has their head office in Hyderabad. Take example of eenadu. They earn money from all 25 districts through news paper, TV and chitfunds but since head office is located in Hyderabad they show revenue and pay all taxes in Hyderabad (not because it is part of telegana but since it is state capital). All silly people think that is Telengana revenue and some one else is looting it. All pro Telangana people are fools.

How do the Telangana Parents feel if their Children living in Various other states or Countries are asked to get out. So many Telengana Chief Misnisters have Ruled AP and they have been accepted and all their decisions have been supported. Sri PV Narasimha Rao from Telangana had become the PM to bring in wonderful reforms to put mother India proudly on world map. without working in Unity will bring growth. So stop blaming KCR....what did Rajgopal did?He disclosed in pressmeet that he ended fast on satday ,once his blood test results show high sugar levels.He might say he did test NIMS as well to know their treatment. He cant share his life with one wife ,how can he fight for Samaikya Andhra with out telangana. if he is generous ,he can start his business in Telangana (not in HYD) and work towards their development.

the decision to form telangana state was made by Chindambaram to break the fast of KCR. we have seen KCR do the fast as he had done ... he broke the fast by having juice ...a few days into the fast .. this was on tv .. later he had iv fluids, medication and a normal diet .. 24 hrs later we are shown he is on a fast... if a person cud do a fast by breaking it like that .. looks like it is like a record setting event where you get to get a break when you do things at a stretch ... any person .. even a dying person .. cud live for a normal lifetime .. it is a farce ... a joke on a strike and a joke of democracy .. do we have to take it ...answer it yourself
Two major rivers passing in AP are passing through Telangana region. But, Telangana region has never utilized this water for irrigation. Just to cater Andhra region needs, Telangana region has to sacrifice.
How long this will continue.
Irrigation dams have to be constructed in Telangana and water has to be shared between all the regions equally.
GO 1845 is the final nail thronged into the dead bodies of Telangana.
Check all the previous budgets one will easily understand the discrimination and disparity.
Every time there is an agiatation, Central played the same trick and nullified it by putting a bandage on the wound. Andhra and Seema players continued their domination game as usual.
Now people in Telangana are not in a position to believe this game at all.
Telangana region wants self governance and it is prone to happen.
