India, uzbekistan, russia,america,australia,japan and europe should come together to help the humanity and not Afghanistan. We should bringforth russia also definitely to stop china and arabian oil rich wahabitype countries to play dirty role in Afghanistan/pakistan/nepal,bangladesh. now, china is the biggest evil to humanity, he is playing every dirty&ruthless trick,learning from history, to expand market for chinese goods, china is desperate to make every developing country her dominion state.
India not able to solve its own ingternal problems. We have Kashmir problem eating our resources for last 60 years. We have Naxal problems in several states. Our political setup yet to mature. Most of the politicians think interms of caste, and religion. Not many even know the history of this country. When India is grappled with its own problems, it can not solve the problems in the world. Unless we go for political reforms, we will not be able to progress. Parlimentary democracy proved inefficient in India. We continue to struggle in the near future. Not only with our internal problems but also with neibours.....

While a giant like India is retreating ever more into its den, a pygmy like Pak is propped up by the US, China, UK, the Middle East etc to play the role of a giant in the region. The repurcussions of such a retreat will choke India into the status of a colony, much as it was when Europeans were vying for India wealth. The Gandhi-Nehru emasculation needs to be done away for good.

Let me explain, in terms of culture, better lifestyle, technology and capabilities Pakistan is about 100 years behind India. However, all India's efforts could be easily nullified by Pakistan through their Madrassa - Mind Bending Process. This has been demonstrated clearly in the cases of headly (gilani) & that muslim doctor who shot fellow soldiers in Texas, US, and also by scores of Jihadists across EU, especially UK, that a great environment, freedom, good education etc. etc. is not sufficient to completely counter the Madrassa Mind Bending Process.
So it is imperative to come up with a strong alternative to this brand of Islam, maybe Sufism.
Else, India will once again end up as a loser, with the hearts of the Afghan common man being with India, but the hearts of the Afghan rulers, being with Pakistan. I trust Kandahar is fresh in everyone's memory, from the point of view of non - cooperation by the Paki stooges running (ruining?) Afghanistan at the time.
It is important to proactively keep the Taliban on the backfoot in Afghanistan itself.
what would one gain by having access to afghanistan. leave the pakistanis to play i-spy in the mountainous desert ... these ingrateful taliban will always hanker after indian blood and sing songs with pakis ...

Countries don't die natural deaths, not in the modern world anyway. Indian presence and influence in Afghanistan is important to keep Pakistan entertained on its western border, and make them behave on their Easter Border, i.e. border with India.
The taliban will always hanker after Indian blood no doubt. The solution is not hiding our head in the sand and hoping they will not attack us, or even merely strengthening our borders, the solution is both strengthening our borders AND out manouvering the Taliban in their home ground, keeping them on the backfoot and on the run in Afghanistan itself.
India is a victim of the UPA appeasement policy to stay in power. Any expansion of Indian influence in Afghanistan will undermine that of Pak which is supported by the Muslim world, China and the US. Furthermore, the low profile by India in the Asia-Pacific region means that other powers such as China will step in and restrict India's influenve to within its borders. The UPA can not be expected to have a world vision as long as it is run by foreigners with no local roots and who are exploiting it much as the colonoial powers did.

we have 2 enemies sitting on our head & these upa people are sending donations to those people who will never help ??? why can't they use this money for upgrade of our defence services ???
US &other countries are having more money & funds they can do why we ahve to copy them in this regard.
