How could any one expect Anil Kakodkar to talk
now contrary to what he had assured the then govt of India, without drawing the wrath of the entire country? The entire interview appears to be stage managed. Now our politicians will say 'Kakodkar and Kalam have asserted that the TN test was successful, and so let us sign the CTBT etc'.The same method was used in signing the nuclear deal, by getting Kalam assert that the Deal was in our national interest. On the one hand the renowned Scientist Dr. Santhanam asserts that the TN test has not been weaponised yet. And here Kakodkar asserts that we have a number of TN bombs of atleast 45 kilo tons yield. As there is such a wide disparity in these contrary statements some one is taking the country for a ride.We know fully who is more dependable, although politicians will decide the choice depending on their preferences, but not on the facts.

When Santanam has your view he is 'renowned' and Kalam has opposite he is stage managed...what a hypocricy.

Any way i agree with your view on the weaponisation and by commonsense ( i dont know if indian H-bombs are above commonsense), we have got to settle with A-bomb.

In case of a second strike (if we survive)...we send the atom bomb by a missile ...then we start praying that both the missile and the bomb work by miracle.

unbelievable ?
by Vijay A on Dec 14, 2009 02:33 PM

Can this be believed ? They are to conduct thermo nuclear test and they know this would probably be the only chance to test and verify their design and country was taking on world by performing this test and instruments that were to confirm results were faulty and not working !!! and the person who was involved in deal with US.. pros and cons of which are still under suspect want people to believe that we have creidble weapons ? What a irony..
