The Congress has messed up the Telangana issue
by raman govindan on Dec 11, 2009 07:11 PM

indian politics nowdays is mostly based on select individuals and families , their own interest and career. less to do with long term policy, national interst, aspiration or well being of all the people. we will face such instances in abundence in the near future.

Division a wrong way!
by nethaji rajendran on Dec 11, 2009 07:09 PM  | Hide replies

Sardar Vallabai Patel-Iron man of India, Played a vital role in merging more than 500 princley states during our independence, but now people for their own political will and selfishness to become a CM of a statue pressing for division of the state. This is most unfortunate, and will lead to chaos in our country. Many such protests will come in future if Telengana is given a seperate state status.KCR and his followers protests that Telengana is deprived of jobs agriculture and developments etc. so they want seperate state, take any state in India only we can see the capital city is well developed than compared to other districts. this is true!. if they want to develop their region why they want hyderabad. they could make many cities like hyderabad, if the cause is true. There could be a deprival but seperate state is not a solution. United we stand!. Otherwise many KCRs from many states will do fast unto death drama to get seperate state. This is not good! seperate state is not a solution.

Seperate states are not a solution if binded by a common langauge. The Congress & BJP is purposefully trying to divide states.

Development
by Rahul on Dec 11, 2009 07:04 PM

Can centre not announce a development package for Telangana? Isnt this cheaper than a new capital for telangana? Why does the congress centre repeatedly take the telugus for advantage? Telugu are spineless people with spineless leaders who have always been door mats for the congress centre, never give any ministries, never give good funds for development.

Mother Telugu sogs for the infights between its sons!!
by mallaiah anchoori on Dec 11, 2009 06:56 PM  | Hide replies

Yah!Congress has really messed up the entire issue & landed itself in trouble-rather knowingly. Its decision is bound to have several far reaching consequences & it is a matter of deep concern that, immediately, even before complete hours are over from Chidambaram's announcement,a spate of demand for 5 separate states has poured in.It is incomprehensible as to how Congress political pundits failed to foresee such repercussions which could be guessed even by a common man.The supportive observation in this news item saying -"after all the three regions have different cuisines, different ways of speaking the language and also regional rivalry" is incorrect. The first two factors are no matter at all & can never be a ground for pleading for separation;even within a district of same region people have different cuisines, talk in different ways with different accents/slangs for various social & historical factors. But the most commonality & bondage that should keep all the people of state for which sacred reason alone "Vishalandhra "was formed in 1956 is the Telugu language.Food habits of Guntur people differ from those of the Godavary people.Like wise the slangs in the spoken language vary again from Krishna to Guntur despite their being neighborly districts. Accent of Karimnagar people differs from that of Mahabubnagar/Wgl.There is no regional rivalry as perceived by the author. Can any one imagine as to how much "Telugu"mother is sobbing for what is happening between its sons?

SEPARATE TELANGANA IS A SCHEME OF TELANGANITE high caste politicians TO STEAL HYDERABAD FROM THE REST OF ANDHRA PRADESH by manipulating the sentiments of backward classes of Telangana. Im not anti-telangana,anti-andhra, anti-rayalaseema. Im for a United AP that is given development funds by the centre.

First of all the Political Analyst should analuze the situation as a whole and not just based on current affairs. The year 2001 was when KCR was denied a Cabinet rank in TDP Governtment. He was there with NTR, later CBN for more than a decade. Why he never raised a slogan until 2001?
WHy KCR joined Central Cabinet and why he left??
IS he honest in his words or deeds? IS any politician honest for that matter?
WHy he joined hands with Congress once and again with TDP and then a free stance....
Does students means only the group that AGITATED in OU?? Why other students in the same region did not evn bothered to paricipate?
Who is behind the scenes for the past fortninght?
How much people like Moily , Chidambaram, Pillay are aware of the ground reality?
Let all these people enter OLD CITY and try raising a slogan. What sort of stance they can take with partys like MIM?? And why MIM was keeping mum these days??Even no one consulted them. They are allys in the recent Muncipal elections . Right?
Conclusion: All Partys are same. All politicians are alike. As long as we elect our leaders the priviliged few will get all the benefits and not the majority, irrespective of T or no T
Congress has managers but all partys are same. It is mud slinging and nothing else.
