Great man. looks like english has liberated you! the southies are doing gora labour in US and hyderabad(computer labor). Now they feel english should be spread in other parts of the country. Have you heard of progress of china, japan, germany etc. - they don't teach their kids english.

Sam , you dont have to say shame on northies, you have to be shameful for what your pentacostal and churches are doing. kerala have the highest literacy level in india and so is the statistics of RAPEs committed and that too on 5yr kids to 65 yr old grannies .so dont figure that out. Both have good and bad.

I read a headline on one of the internet sites and was disturbed by it. It simply read that the descendants of those who fought for independence are suffering from penury embarrassment. There were many who fought and went down the memory lane. There is always exception to the rule though, and that exception only applies to the late Pandit Nehru's family. Mahatama Gandhi's grandchildren are on their own somewhere in the world, but never heard in political world. Lal Bahadur Shastri's children are in politics and they seem to be doing OK. Politicians are doing fine, and there are those who are downtrodden of the society whose independence begins on a hungry stomach and fades away as the day passes. Meanwhile, there are those who have exploited these poor and enjoying their independence because truly it is theirs.

equality and independece need to be taught to kids when they start. leave out those aayas and bais - do your stuff yourself. treat everyone with equality. unfortunately in every society weaker people whether economically or socially suffer. People talk about castes and stuff - what about independece of women?? who talks about the women in these families?

Good sentiments- India is a miracle- despite poverty, chaos, political corruption, minority religion problems, India still remains a democracy, and keeps progressing!
The champion of Dalits instead of self agrendaisement should ensure that the hegamony of landlords is broken and ensure that dalits wronged should get ehat justifiably belongs to them.But it is pipe dream
