antony, I also agree with ankit on this point. Instead of personally abusing any one, counter their arguments in a civilized language. After all we do not know each other. This is just shadow fighting!!

mahe, then you should also be aware that the ASI withdrew their Affidavit. Why do you always talk non-sense?

Of course, so far as I believe, Ram existed but he was only a Noble King.

There is no proof for the existence of any g0d. Forget about Indian or Arab g0ds.

Then what makes you believe that submission of affidavit itself was not due to some other pressure? (Possibly from the "soul harvesters")!!

We have a proof, and we have already proved the existence of Ram. Why ASI did, that is different question with different perception ? If ASI did, that does not mean that Lord Ram did not exist. We believe in freedom, and that is the beauty.

The existence of Ram or Allah cannot be decided in the court of law, as their existence never possessed the legal bindings. Lord Ram or Allah never wants anyone's certificate about their existence. It is just a matter of common sense.

More than common sense, its faith. Its faith that defies even the common sense when it comes to religion.

I disagree...ur eyes dont always see what thy want to see. If someone's impartial, then he can look into things. Truth is not subjective, but at the end of the day, its either yes or no. No one is right..no one is wrong..its the perception.

Faith and common sense are deeply related to each others. You cannot apply your common sense, if you do not have a faith.

Mr. Ankit

Faith comes from your heart, and common sense comes from your brain. If there is good understanding between your brain and heart, then it is a true faith. Otherwise the person will be confused everytime.

Common sense is a very uncommon thing!

If they had even an iota of common sense, people would not have been believing in the fairy tales called holy-b00ks.

I agree....most of the holy books r nothing but fairy tales...but whatz important is to filter out the content..whtz good n whtz relevant. I believe in Gita but dont care less as to where it came from or who actually wrote it..but every word of it is so true.

The contents in Gita was delivered by Lord Kirshna to Arjun before the commencement of war. The contents written in Gita are evergreen, and are appliable to everyone in this word. It is a matter of just analyzation.

Gita has another background. It was a later day addition to Mahabharata, intended to wake up the lazy Kings of our Country when the X'tians spanned the world with their PAPAL BULL to conquer the entire world for their Jesuss and the Musliims spread out to conquer the world with their swords for reclaiming the same for their "most merciful creator". At that time the Indian kings were fighting among themselves for trivial matters.

Fairy Tales is different with holy books. There is nothing harm in believing the holy books so long the other human beings are not harmed.

Mr.Asim Mehtani, you are talking like this only because you are not aware of the ideologies of the Abrahamic faiths (or the contents of their b00ks).

These poor guys are taught that the entire planet earth belongs to their "most merciful creator" and it is their bounden duty to reclaim the same from the infidels. Some of these guys (like Dr. Zakir Naik) says that right from Adam every humnbeing was a Mus1im where as the re1igiion itself came into existence whent their Prft Mohd was about 40 years of age.

Dear Avinash

You are expressing the views be keeping the particular aspects in your mind. May be you are correct if based on that particular aspect. But I want to highlight the concept of our philosophies to compare. Leave this faith or religious issues for the time being. Just thinks, that Mr. Mahe was arguing that why some of our ancestors supported our country's enemies. May be he is correct in saying. But he has forgotten to mention, that we never endoresed those ancestors, who were traitors. We never endorsed Jaichands, but the views of Mahes were reflecting that he has a full of endorsement of MirZafars. That a difference, I want to cite to him.
