Russians are not like Soviet Union. They have changed like who Western Nations. We cannot trust them any more. Western nations won't give good arms to us. Only way to save us to develop our own weapons. Don't depend on others. We have money, technology, and every thing to develop, but lack will power. Even a country smaller than our smallest state is threatening us. Go for indigenous with courage and self-belief.

The best way to secure the subcontinent is to split into two countries - North and South, each responsible for its own security with special realitions in defence between them.
Excercises are very good for defence forces as it gives us a chance to develop more understanding of each others weapons and strategies. It also sends a clear signal to our enemies that we have allies who share our defence strategy.
This is a good achievement. French tech is very good and India has used it for a long time. Its proven to be quite reliable also. There is no harm in developing friendship with like-minded countries.

French people are angry bunch of people partly due to their identity was lost many years ago. As regards ro french technology, my personal view is they are extremely un-reliable and outdated. India should not buy defence equipments from france.
Pakistan is letting Taliban control their states one-by-one,
It is just a first step, to Taliban eventually controling entire Pakistan and their nukes..
Let us stop placating the Pakis and their supporters in India.
Stop pretending that Global jehad does not exist.
Alongwith Israel and the west, we are under attack by fanatic forces of jehad.
They have already proclaimed death for all those who have a different faith.
Porkistan and Arabistan are the two fountainheads of terrorism.
Let us team up with the civilised world to eradicate this jehadi terrorism.
The sooner the better. There will never be peace so long as the evil forces of Jehad try to drag us back to the dark seventh century of death and barbarism.
Stand up Indians or face the consequences of appeasement.
Indian army is quiet capable to whip these enemies on the battlefront ,
but our politicians are useless and like 26/11 can again be caught unaware in case of another attack, especially a " Nuclear one" .
May God protect the Indian army ,the US army and the Israeli Defence Forces.

I do not totaly agree with you ,who controls paki army who used them against us all time and even now who wants 3rd world to be unstable so they can make money from us.wake up my friends there is intentionally war encouraged so they make profits and have upper hand in prosperity for them selves.Please try to see the truth,pakis are stupid idiots and so everyone around us is suffering,imagine asians joint together as european union and do business,just guess who does not want all of us to prosper.we been ruled by naive duffers hence we suffering even today.our leaders busy filling their coffers in swiss banks more then what british took in 150 years rule.so we are paying price for being ruled by crime syndicates actually.
If India wants to survive against neferious designs of China and Pakistan in the coming decade ,we gotto find trusted allies and develop indigeneous technogy in shortest possible time.Let our Govt accord top priority to our defense preparedness.

@ Sunit Kumar: You are blaming the intellegence of india? Its the lack of co-ordination of various agencies in India. Our Intellegence is on the lines of Mossad but government never takes appropriate action.Last year the army returned Rs 7000 crore coz many demands of the army was not approved by the Cabinet. This time the cabinet has all ruling party members, so no ego problem, therefore we are gaining the much awaited needs now.We need our own indegeneous technology and storng allies.Earlier we depended only on one ally,but to be recognised as a power we need several allies.India cannot handle the menace itself,we can counter attack china through Russia and Pakistan through Afganistan.But to win wars we will need allies.Our intelligence does the work,but we need to adapt the proper framework!!
