president asked for chiranjeevi. So there must be some growth!!???.
by santosh p santosh on Sep 11, 2008 11:43 AM

I'm form AP and feeling ashamed to see the castiscm thats out.in a away its good. such issues only when out in public will see their demice.
well Abdul kalam suggested chiranjeevi to think into ap politics. Entire of india respects abdul kalam for his sharp accumen in developmental thinking. this shows chiranjeevi may have what other politician lack. and moreover he has been doing philanthrophic activites..people comment about that too.
bill gates and clinton are also philanthrophists who have accumulated enough before they started giving out. so is chiranjeevi.
so lets support chiranjeevi. btw im a brahmin.dont universalize that all will have castiscm in blood.

by Debo Mcnair on Sep 11, 2008 09:03 AM  | Hide replies

Reddys - pathetic kangressi bootlickers
Kammas - Self centered TDP supporters
Kapu - star struck fanatics

Why do you people vote on the basis of caste? You guys have become like the Yadav supporters of Bihar/UP. And everybody knows what the status of those two states are in India?

I hate both the communists and kangressi lovers in my home state of Kerala, but atleast nobody votes on the basis of caste!

let us give him a chance
by Indian_citizen on Sep 11, 2008 04:03 AM  | Hide replies

As i see in the comments below its as of kamma community doesnt want him and they are making stupid comments.these are my points
-If he is good to give a change to the present system then he sould be elected.
-Kamma community is more like islam fanatics who can do any thing just for thier caste sake.
-Caste system should be abolished and every one should be treated with respect.
-All the people should unite and fight for better india rather putting some illogical comments.
-If his manifesto is strong then we should vote him and give him a chnace to deliver.
-People are not fools to just vote for galmour.
-Chiranjeevi earned this star vale only because of his social activities.
-People should hate the caste based politics in india and vote for a leader who can give them privege to live on this mother earth.

I have seen so many msgs on these boards that speak belittling Chiranjeevi. None are based on his political agenda, political view but based on his family background. All these people shud know that there is alwas a learning curve for evry thing. These predictions are all baseless. People are not fools to vote on sta value. Once his policies, manifesto are anounced people will judge him/and party based on them. I have also seen these people who talk against him simply but at the same time do not say anything good abt Congress (always oppusrtunistic eg. 2 Re Rice issue, Prohibition, telengana etc- countless of them) or TDP (Kamma powered and self centric egoist leader driven party) which is also becoming oppurtunistic (telengana issue). So what good are they doing on corruption front, develoment front? nothing The state is just running with no overall development. We have so much potential to fulfill and be number one in development, both socially and ecnomically. Those are the things which we have to fight for rather than petty caste politics. Lets see what Chiranjeevi comes up with and then we will judge and decide on him, but dont be a fourth rated bottom dweller kind of persons, mudslingling for the sake just tarnishing one noble cause. This party is claiming to be an alternative and lets see what alternative things it can come up with.

Can Tagore make Cine producers, theatre owners to pay tcorrect tax?
by bala murugan on Sep 11, 2008 03:21 AM  | Hide replies

If he says he can make AP as No.1 state.
As a people,we should conduct a test to him for our vote.

If he is a real Tagore--
He got 100000% knowledge in Cinema field.
Can he format a rule to get proper income & correct tax from Actors,Actress, producers, cinema theater owners without cheating?
Can Tagore make Cine producers, theatre owners & all artists to pay correct income tax?

If he cannot do this, he cannot bring AP as No.1 state in India.

Chiru to find & place right people in right job
by mallaiah anchoori on Sep 10, 2008 10:44 PM  | Hide replies

First impression is always the best impression.Chiranjeevi should have clearly spelt out his part's organisational structure & its broad policies in his inauguaratory speech at Tirupathi itself & preempted all the genuine criticism being levelled against him.The greatest minus point for Chiru whose intentions in starting a political party with a view to serve the people of AP might be correct is that he lacks a good mentor & organiser capable of taking care of all crucial matters of the party while he remains as the supremo of the party. He is excessively relying on his family coterie & Dr Mithra who is till now unknown to the people of AP.As Mr Mithra's name goes,it is also doubtful as to whether at all he is a 100% Telugu person-no where at any point of time, his antecedents figured any where in the media.Poor Chiru has to first perfect himself in the art of public speaking as his remarks like his learning to walk as a politician would send wrong signals that a baby not knowing even proper walking cannot be entrusted the job of rule of people as a matured grown up politician. And one who is yet to learn walking cannot be expected to gallop all of a sudden with people's support. Indian electorate fundamentally help the leader who first helps himself. The start up of things & the way the move on do not augur well for him.It is really an uphill task for him to fight the election & win over his two mighty opponents-Congress & TDP.He should find & place right people for right j

Andhra Pradesh - Time for bc's and sc, st's to come to power
by jet on Sep 10, 2008 08:35 PM  | Hide replies

In the more than 50 years of Andhrapradesh history, the state was ruled by Reddy, Kamma caste leaders for nearly 40 years, Theses castes are just 10% of state population. Actor/Leaders like NTR used their popularity to get votes and once they were elected helped their communities develop at the expense of others. The people who are opposing and mudslinging on chiranjeevi are from these castes who are afraid of loosing their power and grip on the state. It is time for the BC's who are more than 50% of the population to rule the state with the help of SC/ST's and minority. 10% of people ruling over remaining 90% is really dangerous as we see discrimination against the BC's and other by these 10% people. All the top industrialists and powerful people in AP are from these 10% castes who reached to that stage with the biased nature of caste fanatic leaders like YS Reddy and NTR.

I am not Reddy or Kamma or Kapu. But I think FC rulers are 1000 times better than SC or 100 times than BC. Most of BC/SC are nicompoops. I prefer Naidu or Reddy to Goud/Munnu Kapu.

mayawati on the other hand, who came to power on caste platform did nothing to the backward castes. she accumulated lot of wealth and now she is dreaming about becoming pm
