THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Even as controversy over the death of Sister Abhaya refuses to ebb, the death of a second nun in mysterious circumstances has pushed the Church in Kerala into a spot. The nun’s father on Tuesday alleged that she was sexually abused in the convent where she was living.
Body of 22-year-old nun, Anupa Mary, was found hanging from the ceiling of the St Mary’s convent in Kollam district on Monday. A member of the Vimala Hrudaya Franciscan Congregation, Mary had joined the convent only three months back. Police said a suicide note recovered from the body mentioned her sufferings at the convent and her differences with the mother superior.
The twist in the tale came on Tuesday with her father Pappachan accusing a senior nun in the convent of sexually abusing Mary. He claimed that the nun had made several advances towards Mary and when they were turned down, she forced Mary to work more at the convent.
Pappachan, a cook in the Bishop’s house in Kollam, said when Mary had come home for leave some days back, she had told her mother that she could not take it any more. She had, however, not said anything to him as she feared being chucked out of the convent, he added.

You are right. But this was an accident which cant difficult to avoid, but what about VHP And Bajrang kills 16 people....?? and i saw people justifying that killings?? The victims do not have right to have combensation from the Govt. ???

Just go to Blogs and see how Indians and Hindus are projected?? The propaganda is projecting us as nothing less than Nazis. Stop reading further here. Go to the bolgs and counter their negatgive propaganda before every one (including our 'modern' Hindus) start believing that is true.
Now killing is going on from both the sides.. by man and the nature..... now flood will come there and draught... I feel orissa will become a death ground now..
You must be remember after the attack on christians in gujarat the entire gujara was devastated by Earth quake...

I am not saying that Christians are above the natural calamities. All human beings are.. But i beleive in God and beleive that when people do the evils God punish them.....

Vedprakash that was an irresponsible comment on the part of Vinu but do not deride anyone by calling them Converts. They then have every right to call you an idol worshipper which you will not like. If you want to say something do not attack the person but rather the comment.

company must give jobs to the kin of the victims plus compensate with Rs 20lacs minimum.
