Saudi govt bailed india out once when world bank was asking to return loans and kept our laaj...maybe pm thinks he can get more

I don't understand this logic....15lakh indians in saudi???? What do you mean? there are 1 billion people at home. I am not saying that you shouldn't bother about indian abroad, but don't indirectly keep digging a grave as big as something from which one would take ages to come out. So, many indians in this or that country and so on...to protect NRIs, one shouldn't pave policies affecting people at home. Remember, all NRIs are out for their own personal purpose and not/never in the name of our country or for it(except a select few maybe) and NRIs in the sense, those who are working and leaving abroad. Again, sure there is a good inflow of foreign exchange, but given a chance that an NRI is able to send money with almost nil money-loss thru service charge or exchanges, he/she would surely do that. So, there is no question of serving the country. And remember, am myself an NRI for the last 6 years.

But my friend Sujith & karthik, whats wrong if he is visiting saudi arabia to strengthen the ties? is there smthin wrong in it..we are importing more than 25% of energy neds from these 2 countries..so it is good that we are on better terms with them..i dont see anything wrong here...juss bcuz saudi arabia is a muslim counry doesnt mean you cant be friends with them...

i agree with you arshad i have lived in saudi arabia for 13 years and they are a damn well friendly people although a hindu they never treated me badly would even invite me amd my family for their marriage yes they also do have black sheeps in their homes but i found it is only some very few indian muslims who behaved obnoxiusly but it is the same eveywhere . there are good and bad and ugly people it is how we deal with them they deal with us
