Hi Each and ever Indian should bow to defense forces, who drain their life to safe guard Nation. This is the only party which is in POWER (at Center) from last 12 years or so. It was in power during Devegowda or I K Gujral's tenure. Later shifted loyalty to BJP and was in power till 2004 and again went back to Congress and is in power till now. I think DMK sensed already that UPA is gone this time politically. So now changing loyalty against current ally. Thus it is just using this LTTE as a tool/medium to distance itself from the current allies.
Karunanidhi was tightliped when LTTE was killing opposition Tamil groups, Tamil MPs, Sinhala & Muslim civilians. Now suddenly when the most brutal terrorists on earth (LTTE) are at the verge of defeat, he wants India to go save Prabakaran the murderer of an Indian PM. LOL
If some BJP guys dont know the figures dont bluff. Inflation was nearly 6% during most part of BJP rule and in 2000-2001 it was above 8% for almost 4 months. Vajpayee bought oil $19 (1999) - $34 (2004). MMS was buying same oil @ $150 a month back. This will create unprecedented inflation. And almost all major countries of the world are having more inflation than India! It is better management of resources. Oil price coming down and inflation too.
Dont forget this - The first 4 years of UPA in office the inflation is well within 5% mark! Get facts! If the Yashwant sinha was finance minister Indias inflation levels today have been at a simialiar level with Zimbawae!!! You need brains to manage this. MMS has!

Yup, the dingbats were too busy with the Non-Aligned Movement, and creating a Multi - Polar world, and basically just wasting time, while infrastrucure rotted, and People starved.

in the last 18mths followed by unprecedented food crisis which again shot up now prices of all commodidties including wheat,rice and oil are coming crashing down,inflation will ease in the next six months.Management of price in times of crisis and when we are integrated with the world is easier said than done

Inflation/Oilprice are all relative and I feel these are not under any PM's actual control. He can only do a bit here and there. But if you check the facts on big ticket public spending congress governments always pursued vote bacnk related spending. Not for country's development.Say NREGS,Farm loan waiver,etc. Compare this with non congress Govt. spending: Konkan railway,Highway etc.
UPA A visionary and statesman like MMS No serious corruption charges in these 5 years! There is some political will The nuc deal was done. New beginning. NREG and attempts to make things more transparent by RTI etc Nearly 9% growth for 5 continuos years
NDA Everyday one or other minister was found involved in corruption from petrol to coffins Pathetic economic record (4% for 4 years!) Add to that an ignorant fellow wannabe PM today 1999-2004 there was atleast Vajpayee. What this Advani know to rule a country??? He has not much idea on any world matters

BJP in 1998 take charge of govt with inlattuion of 11% and leave govt when it was 4% .. see now... congress start it at 4% and take that inflation at 14% from 2004 to 2008.... BjP when took charge the sensex was 3000 and when left 2004 the sensex was 8000 nearly 170% increase ... When Upa took charge in 2004 sensex was 8000 because of misdeeds of UPA and congress present sensex is 10000 it will come down to 8000 in next one week.... VOTE BJP FOR BETTER FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE AND SECURITY.... KICK OUT UPA AND CONGRESS

Ram Sethu not a place of worship: Centre New Delhi, Oct 14: The Congress-led UPA government has filed a fresh affidavit in the Supreme Court on the controversial Ram Sethu issue. In the 100-page affidavit, reportedly filed on October 11, the Centre claims that Ram Sethu, or Adam's Bridge as it is popularly known, is not a place of worship as being claimed by many religious groups and political parties.
The Centre further says that Ram Sethu is not an integral part of Hinduism and repeated its earlier claim that it no longer exists. According to the affidavit, which contains replies to various petitions filed in favour of the Ram Sethu, including by J Jayalalitha's AIADMK, Lord Ram had himself destroyed the bridge while returning from Ravan's Lanka (present day Sri Lanka).
Intriguingly, the Centre, which has formed a six-member committee headed by noted environmentalist Rajendra Pachouri to explore the new alignment but chose to file the latest affidavit even before the committee could come out with its findings.
Moreover, the development came days after the Centre set in motion the process of examining an alternative alignment of the Sethusamudram Shipping Channel Project (SSCP) following a directive from the Supreme Court.

SEZ allocations and land acquisitions do not appear to be corruption-free. Also, corruption is now a way of life almost all over India. All that remains for this Govt. is to pass a Bribery Acceptance Bill in Parliament to enable people to pay bribes by cheque.
