i agree that all muslims are not terrorists.. but what are the so called moderate muslims doing to curb extremist thoughts in the minds of people in their community.. it is time educated moderate muslims to hold a big rally publicly decrying against the terrorists and work towards the mental upliftment of their brethren else we are going to have a hindu-muslim riot yet again and a lot of innocent lives (hindu as well as muslims) would be lost.

What are they doing ? Unless the terrorists are isolated through the mobilisation of public opinion against the mass murders of innocent civilians, the war cannot be won. Public support is critical for winning an asymmetric war, but no effort has gone into mobilising it in a systematic and methodical manner.
Muslims need to isolate the black sheep in their community. It is time Muslims begin to act in their own interests.

What 'Moderate' or 'True' Muslims are doing:
1) Most Mosques are openly criticising dehshatgardi "terrorism" every friday in the sermons. 2) They are helping Police with information about strangers/ strange activity 3) As Mir Ali has explained Muslim Police Officers are in their vardi showing only loyalty towards their duty

If what u r saying is correct then it is good. But u also consider that everytime muslims are caught, you always have comments from the community that everything is staged, innocents are being targeted and so on.

Yes we have seen in Afghanistan, Saudi and even in NWFP of Pakistan.
What other religions provide is peace of mind.
What Islam does is that it takes away that piece from its followers and also from non followers.

Muhammad (PBUH) is dead. Only Eesa (Jesus) will come and you are right a lot of people who claim to be Christian and Muslim will be against him. Only a few faithful will stand by him.
The tragedy is not with Islam but for the unfaithful. As far as infighting is concerned which Religion as practiced today does not have?
I had a different view of Hinduism when it comes to infighting till I saw in a recent Kamal Hassan movie that Shaivites troubled Vaishnavites or vice versa before Islam or Christianity even entered India.

Zakir Naik is a fraud converted muslim. He tries to prove Muhammads prophecy in Vedas in a foolish way. He is heavily funded by Saudies to drive Indian muslims in wrong path. We Hindus recognize all paths to be true as far as religion goes, but if some fraud tries to prove his religion is the best, we can reject our tolerant stance. Just wait for Kalki who will wipe all Adharma very soon.
