Corrupt officials
by peearen on Dec 06, 2008 10:46 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When compensation is announced Government Officials are extremely happy. Because these vultures knock off major portion from the sanctioned amount and pay a small sum to victim's family. The media should bring out such incidents and concerned officials should be taught a lesson by the public because in India the entire system from police to judiciary has become corrupt hence no justice would be done if a complaint is lodged with higher officials or police.

We really need to float the idea of someone making sure the money reaches the people who are promised it, and not the politicians. Maybe we can request the media to follow up and ensure this? Should we all send emails and requests on this issue to the media? I really want the money to reach the people, atleast this time around.

In the 10,000 years of history India never evaded any country as this kind of nature is not in our veins.India's only mistake was sending IPKF to Sri Lanka which cost India to loose our PM.Now the best way to tackle Islamic Terrorism is to shut the doors with Pakistan and Diplomatic relations should be cut off.India blindly believing Zardari and co. Terrorism is in their blood.Let us cut off all kinds of relations with Pakistan.Boycotting this Terror cultured nation and setting up our own intelligence networks is the best way to safeguard our country

Not just Pakistan, we should also shut out Bangladesh. It is only a matter of time before Bangladeshis increasing their movement into India. Even now the Border Security Force in India keeps losing soldiers to random firing from across the border... India is a big country, but we do not have enough self respect and we are a very divided lot.

Very well said. This is the time for India to seal all its borders. In fact this is a golden opportunity since under the present condition, no other country will question India. Let the Govt act at least now and make it difficult for the intruders from Pakistan, Bangaldesh, etc to sneak into India. Will the UPA wake up from its sleep at least now?

Suppose some of the Politicians were killed in the attack .. wht wud be the outcome? Would our PM resign? on moral grounds that he was incompetent in giving the HOME MINISTRY to Shivraj patil? Would the remote controller SONIA resign saying it was her fault to nominate shivraj patil? and such simple pple have to face hardships and loss of their loved ones. Its a loss beyond repair for them.

i think person is with short memory, we have lost our endeavouring politiicans, like Smt Indira gandhi, Rajiv gandhi, S. Bean Singh due to terrorist. dont they have the families. think for a moment if one of ur family ends in the same way. it is very easy to point out others. keep urself at the same position. they are so many more who are the cause of terrorism. though i m not favouring politicians but there are many who have good concern for the public.

Life of one corrupt, useless, scoundrel, criminal politician = Life of 1000 hardworking, honest, peaceful "general" Indian citizen.
This is the unfortunate truth of our country today and that's why politics has become such a lucrative business for the scum of the society. Why is not a single politician honest? Simple, because no honest person can survive in this dirty business anyway.

by sai on Dec 06, 2008 12:33 AM  Permalink

my condolonces for the family no body can ever replace their loss... anyways these collectors are as bad as terrorists.. the compensation should be given right then and there. Why don't the staff comes first collect info, prepare a deposit and then this collector should visit the people with the deposit. These govt officials should not be entered near the family until they provide what they promised. I wish media present there took more active stand on part of that family rather than clicking photos. I dont think the family were given anything written.

Rizwan is a Pakistani agent trying to spread false propaganda that Mumbai attacks were carried out by BJP. Not thiss time bacchhe.. This time we have actually caught one of your men and we will make him speak. We have a number of witnesses, phone records and equipment seized from him which is enough to implicate Pakistan and destroy it.

You fool your lies are useless this time.
