india is in an economic meltdown, but congress is merrily partying
by hindu hindu on Nov 21, 2008 01:07 PM

you know the PRICES of BASIC FOOD TODAY.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE,
FOR MOST INDIANS,
TO BUY VEGATABLES AND FRUITS,
TO COVER A DAILY NUTRIRIONAL DIET.

CONGRESS IS THUS RESPONSIBLE FOR CAUSING MAL-NUTRITION ALL OVER OUR NATION.

CONGRESS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CAUSING STARVATION DEATHS AMONG THE CRORES OF POOR INDIANS.
OUR LEGAL SYSTEM IS FAILING,
OUR COURTS ARE GETTING SCREWED, BY THE CONG.

OUR NATION HAS THOUSANDS OF HIDDEN ISLAMIC TERRRORISTS, AS POINTED OUT BY THE CIA AND

BRITISH-SECRET-SERVICE LAST WEEK.
THEY ALL SUPPORT CONG.
AND CONG PROTECTS THEM.

Obama supporters

There was an incident in a school where a high school kid wore an Obama T shirt to school one day and was greeted well was at school. A couple of days later, the kid wore a McCain T shirt and was sneered at was called a racist for not supporting Obama. Obama won by a margin of 8 million votes out of over 110 million votes polled. Not ever American is happy with the victory of Obama. It is just that it is politically correct and you are considered to be a good human being only if you are pro Obama. Say you are a McCain supporter and you are looked down at as if you are the scum of the society by the Obamaites.

What else can you call a person who supports McCain. This senior politician brought up irrelevant issues such as race, religion, history but did nothing to address the real concerns of average Americans. The least one can do is to sideline such opinions and also those who approve of such irresponsible talk. Wonder what would have been if McCain-Palin had won. The White House would have been turned into a pageantry, with busty blonde bombshells strutting around; the Pentagon would have gone overdrive to plan an attack on Iran and Russia; McCain would have converted the White House into a Vietnam War Museum; Palin would come to work brandishing her new hunting rifle; one would see hunting trophies (heads of Moose, Reindeer, and Polar Bear) lining the barricades of White House.

Of course, one would also hear of new additions to the family even before the wedding invitations is sent.

Ha ha .. I can't stop laughing. Imagining such a situation just arouses my creative writing abilities.

a Muslim (as if that is a huge crime).

Aseem says "And supporters of the Republican candidate said Obama was untrustworthy, labeling him an Arab and--God forbid--a Muslim (as if that is a huge crime)."
Every American should read the book "Stealth Jihad: How Radical Islam is Subverting America without Guns or Bombs" by Robert Spencer.

I must tell you that I've been following the Presidential Race from India for the last 1 year. In the final two months, the only picture of McCain that I could conjure was that of a robot, the ones that Japanese are good at. His body language failed to impress; everytime he pumped his fist in the air, it seemed like he put all his energy into the act. Without a clear political message, McCain was just an also-ran. His clout among white voters proves that white Americans still look down with contempt at people of color.

As for your recommended book, please don't suggest what we must read. Instead read Obama's speech on Racism and his two books. That is the voice of the people and an acho of the founding fathers of America. Abraham Lincoln must be begging for a second life on earth.

As for Obama's popularity in terms of votes, that's democracy in action. Even if had won by just a thousand votes, he's still the winner. You better get used to saying 'President Obama' before you are left in the cold.

Obama won because he is a smart guy with a great vision and good leadership skills. That aspect should come into fore much before his skin color or looks. We little credit is being given to him for that.

I think WYA's prayers have been answered.
He will be sitting pretty from Jan 21st to watch what the new PRESIDENT-US will do to revive the nation and the worldwide(As they always think they are super powers NO PUN)

Given the fact that Obama is new, young represents an intellect genre of people and MUCH is expected from HIM.
One has to understand as Americans believe he is not from Marvel Comics to save the country.

What merit did Bush have? He excaped from miliraty duties because of his father's influence. Don't know if he graduated even because it doesn't reflect in his speeches or in his thinking pattern. A man without any achievement occupied Camp David and his Crawford ranch more than the White House. Probably his only qualification was his contact with Saudi royal family and his amateur glofing.
