He paved the way for Hindu nomadism. He got millions of Hindus routed from ancestral land and caused to carve what we call Pakistan, a land of terror, fanatism and idiocy in the name of religon. He has seen for ever Hindus will not have a land of their own on this planet, while the Muslims can make a few more countries cutting the reamining land called India. He was more succesful than Jinnah in screwing Hindus. He paved the way for Lalus and Karunas.

no Englishmen now ... their homes are already on fire ... their gods have sent us an virgin Italian to take care of us! the misdeeds of the Congress are just too many and too blatant for any reasonable Indian to digest. I guess God is sleeping as usual.

The current economic recession is due to christians! The Western countries are too greedy and sunk us all into a deep hole.
It was INA lead by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was the main reason for India's freedom. The true patriot and real leader of India's freedom was Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Even when Netaji was Congress President (1938-39), he drafted all the methodology about Planning Commission for India's progress when India will become free. March to Delhi, Jai Hind and glory to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose for ever

yeah...It was really unfortunate for Indian History that he was lost or died. Its India's bad luck that it keeps on loosing good leaders and the bad ones keep surviving.
We, Indians are possessed with aN UNCANNY sense of strong likes and dislikes. At times our assessment about leaders, events keep on vacillating and remain explicitly charged with emotion. Pandit Nehru as he was known for his undisputed scholarly disposition vividly represents an admixture of contrasting ideas which can be dubbed as near-eclecticism. I read somewhere (not sure) that he agreed to this evaluation. I absolutely agree with Crocker that his greatest achievement was to establish India as a democratic and secular country (despite sublime opposition to this dogma) despite remnants of feudalism and post colonial attitude of subjugation. He built up those scientific institutions and heavy industries which basically laid the foundation of Modern idea. If we try to re-evaluate or raise benchmarks for a period which did not have any historical parallel would not be an impartial one; he definitively deserves benefit of doubt. At personal level, he might not have fathomed the depth of Hinduism as a way of life since he was a self-declared agnostic. But understanding Hinduism is a basis of dispensing social engineering in India which could have been complimenatary to the efforts put forth by Gandhiji and Ambedkar. Another limitation emanated from his heavy dose of indoctrination which restricted his appeal to a genre of intellengtsia, it did not transcend to broad political thoughts. Nehru is an inseparable part of Indian history and his legacy and influence will be enduring

Ofcourse he belonged to the league of living high and thinking low. I still dont understand how can possibly a person like nehru could be legacy for a country like india. a pure nonsense, his legacy is only creating a mess with his own philosophical nonsense.
Patel, Gandhi-ji, shastri, rajaji and many more leader were plugged at the grass root level. This guy was nothing more than a 5 star hotel toilet paper.

very True. Its still unknown why he was sworn as a Prime Minister when Sardar Patel had more votes. Shameless Nehru.
"One has to see Nehru in the context of his times, to remember that what is now in the past, for us, was once in the future, for him."
Here falls the false feather on his cap! He is now stripped of the much publicised title of Visionary! Wait for other feathers to fall in due course of time.
when i was child in 1970, i was told indira was godess, whole country were illiterate, their m l a ,mp mojority of people dnot know who they were and what they did, only village pradhan, patwari and police thanedar were told to convance for them, it was their democracy in himachal pradesh, i saw them very hauty, without any ideas and simply theoritical , not practical, we saw lot of changes after janta parties came to power, they did wonderful work in himachal, we saw new road, school, college ,still there are enough tobe done, i saw congresi culture still expension of fuadalism and chamchagiri,,,

Janata Party was a great experiment when it was imperative for the opposition parties as their survival was in peril
Unfortunately, the party was having good leaders and less number of followers. The internal squabbles among the old leaders, Morarjee, Charan and Jagjeevan lead to the total failure of the experiment
