Eat Vegetarian Food and Save the Planet. Meat industry is the major contributor of Global Warming. Do we want to destroy the mankind and out future generations on Earth? Let we live simple way of life, which will not save the planet it will also give us healthy life. Most people those live longer and healthy life are vegetarian and live a simpler life.
I dont think religious sensitivity has anything to do with the menu. They stopped serving beef because its prices have shot up and are making a big deal out of it. They probably buy their chicken cheap from bird flu areas.

Dear Rediff readers, Allah made MAN the supreme creature on earth (Ashraful Makhlukat) and he has every right on animals and plants to satisfy his needs on earth. What is Halal and what is haram,is clearly given in Holy Quran and the books revealed to earlier Prophets. so it is unfortunate that on earth people still debate on these issues. May all of us get a guidence From Allah in these matters!

M. Irfanullah: Stop your fanaticism and learn to respect others faith, culture and way of life. Why followers of other faiths, have to follow your Koran. You follow, your book. Let others follow others books. Do you follow Hindu Holy Books Veda, Bhagavad Gita or Christian Holy book Bible? Learn to respect others way of life and allow us to live in peace. You muslims will destroy the world by your fanaticism and hate against others.

yes.. it is said that if you die... you will meet allah in heaven... why dont you meet him and enlighten us?
all of u may know this, but I want to tell again, so some of you may start following this
for good health, eat only veg food
at least, 50% of your food must be uncooked, raw food such as vegetables and fruits
the reamining 50% of your food can anyway be the usual junk that you normally eat
if you start eating raw, uncooked food, miracles will happen in your life, first, u will realize you will require only 50% of what you are eating now and yet have double the energy
i urge all of u to have at least 50% of your food as raw, uncooked food such as vegetables and fruits
that will also increase your health and beauty
you will lose your weight, if you are overweight and become slim and attractive
it cures all your diseases and prevents new diseases
