The real question is who issued the gun licence to Soha at the age of 18, and why? And also, what action is being taken against the issuing authority?

So for as the applicant is concerned, she has not committed any crime just my making an application as a minor. Legal permissions are supposed to be accorded strictly as per rules, which the sanctioning authorities are well supposed to know!

Any one at the age of 16 and above can apply for a licence adn will get one provided He/She can justify as to why the license is needed.
Soha Ali kahns family is a famiuly of hunters and justification could have come from the family as to hunting.
But once it comes to the light of the authorities that the justification is not valid and then the license is canceled or not renewed the following year which ever is mealier.
Even you can apply for a license just go to your local police station and get the form and fill it, weather you can justify holding a gun licence or not is up to you.
Go and try it.you will not be refused for making an application it success depends on your application and not who you are.
Try getting a license to use a gun at a rifel range.
The only thing is then that you will not be allowed to keep a gun at home unless it is de-activated.
Most deactivation is done by removing the firing machnisim and filling the barrel with lead so that it can not be fired instantly and is only for a show on the wall.

Air Guns do not require licenses.

When it is a politician, crooks or bollywood personality the application of law is different!! The DM should be sacked for the missing file (but then the file is intentionally missing.........that is money power!!!).

Absolutely. A common man gets into trouble in same case and he would have a bunch of documents ready against him for his prosecution. Whoever say that there is same law for all is a big lier.
