Lot of pranaams to you Sam Bahadurji. India shall really be proud to have a son like you. I was amazed to read that you were a fan of Swatantryaweer V D Savarkar. It also indirectly highlights the greatness of VDS whose political prophecies have come true. For e.g VDS was the first to warn Nehru and nation about the crocodile tears and futileness of "Hindi Chini bhai bhai..."As usual Nehru was always paranoid of your thoughts. Secondly, VDS had foreseen the importance of Andaman and Nicobar as a strategic location. Still our govt. has yet not been able to do it. The Chinese are reportedly planning a base in the sea at that point. THere are still many examples...

Sam Bahadur had highlighted and glorified the impact of VDS's book "The Uprising of 1857" on his thoughts and plans. Sam bahadur saab himself mentioned in a speech about this in Pune at a function where a VDS memorial was to be inaugurated at his hands.

Actually the President, Prime Minister and Defence minister should personally should have attended your funeral or visited for his final 'Darshan". Anyway, it is foolish to expect this from an Italian promoted, Chinese supported, govt.
We really bow down for whatever you have done for this nice country.

Pranaam.

An old soldier never dies, he just fades away. Sam Bahadur will remain etched in our memories till we die.

Where were the Prez, PM, Raksha Mantri, Defence Secretary, etc., etc. for his funeral ?

So, once again proved that our country needs men like Sam Bahadur, (heroes), not politics.

Why INA got sidelined
by Bharath Kumar on Jun 27, 2008 03:58 PM

I really respect Mr.Sam,
But the only unresolved question is, why did he let INA get sidelined in defence forces....
My only question is
1)Was it becoz he was helpless..... and was not able to act according to his will infront of anti Netaji element Mr.Nehru....
I still believe it was becoz of above reason..,,
