Media Rating Service
by usa on Jun 25, 2008 04:44 PM  | Hide replies

Electronic and Print Media in Andhra Pradesh devoid of "objective point of view".

Government must setup a Media Rating Service similar to CRISIL in financial industry.

The Media Rating Service should rate media in order to
1. Stop propagating "sarcasm and hypocrisy" in the society.
2. Promote "objective and positive point of views".

in that case, MRPS needs to be banned, because it is sarcastic, hypocritical, it has no objectivity and it has negative points of view

the SC/ST leaders must be strongly condemned as per your recommendations

Manda Krishna Madiga
by archana on Jun 25, 2008 04:40 PM

Manda Krishna Madiga, the dalit leader, leader of MRPS, Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS), and his associates have amassed crores of rupees.

They dont care a damn about the welfare of the people of their community.

These are merely political gimmicks to loot the government and the common man.

are we one?
by archana on Jun 25, 2008 04:31 PM  | Hide replies

these political parties follow divide and rule policies and divided Indians into different groups according to religion, caste, region, language and so on

each group fights for its own rights and benefits

nobody is thinking of the country as a whole

nobody is thinking of ALL Indians irrespective of religion and caste

it is time to bring about UNIFORM CIVIL CODE where the same law applies to everyone irrespective of religion and caste

I think the people will soon be fed up of this and they will demand either a UNIFORM CIVIL CODE or separate countries for upper castes, lower castes, Muslims, Christians and so on.

increases the gulf
by archana on Jun 25, 2008 04:23 PM  | Hide replies

these incidents only further increase the gulf between the upper and lower castes

these SC ST acts are being misused and this misuse further alienates these SC ST people from other people

These SC/ST people damn well know what they want... they are not so illiterate...

The politicians and the SC/ST/Dalits are hand in glove with each other.... they just want to profit...

One day, India is going to be filled up with the so called "underprivileged" lot... then even the gujjar riots would be child's play when compared to that society...

Misusing Dalit Atrocity law
by Lakshmi Eddula on Jun 25, 2008 04:05 PM  | Hide replies

Government has acted in favour of MRPS in leiu of coming elections. If they don't take action MRPS wll be upset and will create nausance that may effect the election results. If they go against journalists then it will be a small community that will go against them and so have taken action in favour of MRPS.
MRPS is misusing the atrocity law. There should be discussion in the country to revisit this law and make changes in such a way that this kind of misuse is not allowed. There should not be one kind of benefit for dalits and another for upper caste. MRPS did the same act but is un touched but journalists protest in similar fashion has landed them in trouble. Noone in this country will accept this. Except for votes there is no other purpose for the acts of the people in power and people who want to come to power. Dalit atrocity law should be revisited so that it is not misused.

by archana on Jun 25, 2008 04:01 PM  | Hide replies

even after 60 years, why this special treatment for SC and ST people?

Ambedkar wanted special treatment only for 10 years

why are we continuing this for 60 years?

scrap all special privileges for SC ST, including the reservations ...

treat all Indians as one

very nice to see your mail.yes it was for 10 years as per the constitution.but Indiragandhi increased the tenure .i think for political gains, actually ambedkar got converted into budhism, but now the conditions have changed, only thing is government should provide resources to all the economically backward people
