Hillary Clinton tells New York lawmakers she is open to being Barack Obama's running mate, The Associated Press reports.
I think in order for Obama to win the white house he has to choose Hillary as his VP otherwise i dont see him winning the presidency but you never know

McCain has the bad qualities of both democrats and republicans combined. He is trying to be ultra liberal where he should not be but wants to continue the war since his back ground is military.
Ideal situation. An Africam-American President with a lady VP.She could act as the bridge between the former and present presidents and run the state jointly.

usually the former presidents are just former ... they have no active interest in US politics ... they just do things like raising funds or be a peace maker like carter is ... but beyond that they stay out of politcal news
of course bill clinton is in a different situation ... he wife is seeking presidentiual nomination ... so he is out campaigning for her ... not sure if she becomes a VP, what would Bill's role be ... but hopefully he will choose to elt his wife do the things and not interfere.
The kind of politics that's going on the US, I no-longer feel ashamed of our own politicians and our government, the day is not far when an Obama led coaltition government in US will fall because of Mrs Clinton pulling out of it and starts floating her own party. then we'll say welcome to the world of India, what US is doing now, we had done it a century ago, so who's more advanced!!

you obviously have no idea of the political system in the US ... the president does not need a majority in the house to be in office and so the question of absolute or coalition govt. does not arise e.g. right now a republican is the president but democrats control both the congress and the senate.
Mrs. Clinton has never said of floating her party .. she is just fighting for her party's nomination, so is obama.

Fools should not open their mouth because only crap will come out. At least know something about presidential form of government, then try to put a comment.
Nothing better then a black President and a white lady Vice President.Maybe she'll be able to control her hubby better and run the State jointly with both past and incumbent Presidents.

I doubt that Obama will pick her as VP ... she's a stron woman and has her own mind ... she may not be a team player with Obama if she becomes a VP
I think Obama will go for a Governor from across the mississippi - just a guess

Intelligent Brain! Good, but she thinks that militant groups that oppose US are terrorists and who dont are freedom fighters. Good principle only suited for US.

i wont mind if she does a lewinsky on me ;) -- i need a change for some time ;). hmmm ..... Lucky Obama....
Be prepared to get a clarification from Mrs. Clinton that this story is generated by Obama supporters who want to derails her campaign. Whatever may be the truth, she should not opt for VP post. She gave a good fight for Obama and should keep away from election by giving support from outside. That will be a dignified act.

It is upto Obama and HIllary. It is good to have a strong VP so that President does not get carried away. Hillary and OBama are softening it now. There seems to be some commeroderie between the two now which is the way it should be.

yes, I agree ... she should rally her supporters to vote for Obama this fall, whether or not she is on the ticket.
