What would have happened in India?
by RN Iyengar on Jul 26, 2008 06:47 PM

I betcha, had it happened in India, the powerful law-maker would not only have gone free, the police guy who tried to arrest him would have been in big trouble.
This is the difference between India and the USA in terms of enforcing laws; USA is a land of Rule of Law.

A poorly written article
by Guest on Jul 25, 2008 09:53 AM  | Hide replies

This article is a perfect example of a poorly written article. Writer's each sentence is extremly long - equal to a paragraph! Lot of news stories on Indian website indicate the same pattern.

In India many dirty politicians are there. They have all dirty habbits.
Mind it India has been ruled by many Raja Rishis in those days. That is why still the culture exists in India even after ruled by idiot Muhals and the Idiot Britishers. Because how the King-same way the pepople. But now days the ruling guys lost all the good qualities except very few that too in fear of public. Not for anything else. This incident prooves the same thing nad reminds. After all he too a politician. Now he matches the dirty Indian politician. Since he has been away from India for long he took this many years to do like this. That is all. One thing if he would have followed his ancesters of India instead of current politicians this shame would not have come to him

Well said. Most of these Indian consulting companies are corrupt and very greedy for money. Sometimes I'm surprised how these people are doing illegal things without fear where the law is so strict. (Stopping payments, selling green cards..).
