MPs
by Madan Mohan on Jul 23, 2008 03:50 PM

Ethics of ‘public representatives’ are lowest in this era…. Moreover they had a tempting offer in Crores against mere tenure of another 6 months in Loksabha. Some of them might have eyed long term personal goals also, but definitely non with real values. Congress, as usual adept in trapping MPs from otherside in this kind of situations, could scrape-thru…

The BJP is now the offended party while a few weeks ago they were the offenders in Karnataka inducing Cong & JD-S MLA resign to give them a simple majority.

However the BJP like all pro-India parties are not against the Nuclear Treaty knowing it would be good for our Country. It's parties whose ideology, thought process and actions are controlled from outside India who see a problem in India prospering. The people of India have hence always believed in the Cong, BJP and the various forms of the Janata Parivar and never given parties like the CPI & CPM the mantle to rule over the country, apart from some pockets like WB & Kerala.

Jai Bharat.

Dear Suresh,

This a conclusion I got out of an earlier rediff bol that was taken out by rediff because everybody was united and making sense.

Congress - Sonia Dynasty = BJP.
I replied
BJP - Sangh Parivar = Congress.

Admit it, any self respecting BJP would have abstained as a matter of Policy.

Congress is crap but BJP is crappier for aligning itself with Communists (traitors) and BSP (castiest) only for pulling down a government made up of people's representatives.

You would have got the same respect that Somnath got had you refrained from the cacophony yesterday.

Admittedly there was no policy issue really yesterday. Yet I would list the policies as follows:

Communist : Keep India decades below China.
Mayawati : Become PM (absurd yet)
Chilar Parties : Get a piece of Dalit and Communist votes at next elections.
BJP : Be a nuisance. Bring the government down.

I am not sure of Kerala, but the situation in kolkata is not what you have said. People in kolkata dont want left rule anymore. Next LS elections will be a turn around in bengal politics and left will only get 20 constituencies (maximum). Trinamool congress and Prog. Congress (new party) will bag the rest.

What to do Sahadevan, your leaders are idiots, they have no plan, they tried to wash the back of Mayawathi, and in panic BJP voted for Congress. At least BJP knows ManmohanSingh is far better than Mayawathi as PM, but your leaders Prakash Idiot etc have no clue whats happening in this world. So Amar Singh etc are going to enjoy power, you people can never do any good to India either from inside or from outside of any ministry.

You are after a long forgotten and total failure ideology called Communism. I advise you not to be a bonded slave , you are a learnt man, dont be a condom.

in all, there were more than 25 members proved to be cross voted against their repective party whips...there were may abstained...if we take the people cross voted and abstained, the UPA definitely lost the game... but, the cross voting and abstaintion helped the common man of india from facing general election early by one year when the inflation is so high already.

UPA LOST THE CONFIDENCE...BUT NUCLEAR DEAL WON THE VOTING.
and in the next general election, UPA would definitely wiped out.

Parties changing alliance is a collective decision by the leadership. Can individual who contested on a party symbol go against the whip of a party? If they don't like the party or leadership, let me resign and face elections rather than misusing votes.

Rajdeep Sardesai is a liar
by Suresh on Jul 23, 2008 03:41 PM  | Hide replies

Now details are emerging that Rajedeep Sardesai has not handed over the unedited tapes of the sting operation to the Speaker. He claimed that he was on his way to hand over the tapes to the speaker. Obviously, he has not reached Parliament. The Congress bosses and Amar Singh must have paid him crores and bought him out.

Have you wondered why all other MP's are 25 crores and BJP MP's are worth only 3 crore.

The market decides the value on morals as well. BJP has fewer morals to dish out.

Or maybe they took 25 and dished out 1. that could be another reason - unreliability.

CNN IBN is pro Congress from the beginning. They will aire tapes of rival parties immediately without asking anyone. However, for Congress, they will keep mum and pretend to maintain decorum.
