It is a shame that the BJP is supporting them just to overthrow the government. If the BJP wins the elections, We can be sure they will get the Nuclear Deal passed in its present form, as it is. It is ironic that though the LEFT is headed by fairly educated people, National interest has been their last priority. Their utterances amaze me.... ' The Nuclear accord will hurt the interest of muslims !'
On the contrary, the likes of Mulayam Singh Yadav, Lalu Yadav etc have proved to be better leaders and the Indian public appreciates their stand to side with the Congress in the interest of the Nation.
I think the LEFT has reached its Nadir under 'Karat and Company'.

The UPA Government has led India into a binding commitment that has little to do with the production of civilian nuclear energy and everything to do with bringing us within the restrictive framework of nuclear non-proliferation. The 'deal' is not about liberating India from the clutches of wayward oil-producing nations and the vagaries of fossil fuel, but binding us to the interests of the non-proliferation lobby and the business interests of the nuclear power industry.

Russia and China support this nuclear deal even though commies are strong there. BJP supports the nuclear deal but prefer bringing down the government. The commies and the BJP only cooperate because tehy hate the Congress party and Manmohan Singh government.
Nuclear waste is DEADLY WASTE, more serious than CO2 and other emissions.
If a disaster occur in a normal power plant, we can do something to make the locality habitable.
But a nuclear disaster can make that area uninhabitable until the radio active nuclear waste is inactive and it can take may be hundreds of years.
Take the exmple of Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986. The city is still mostly uninhabited due to radioactivity.
In order to meet the rising demand for energy, invite private companies to build power plants based on conventional fuels and new renewable sources ....
If well designed power plants in the capacity of reliance refinery in jamnagar comes up in south north east and west of India, we can solve the demand, may be in 5 years time . Anybody there to bet ???
If u go for nuclear plants, it is 100000 % sure that private parties will not be involved, investemnt to be made by the govt. Where is the money for it ??? ( They cant even subsidise oil or fertilizers ) So it will be on loan from world bank or IMF ...... how many years for construction and commissioning ??? Safe storage of nuclear waste generated ( high level and low level wastes) and finally disposal of the same safely for hundreds of years
So which option is better ???
If a desalination plant is also set up with power plants, it can meet the water requirements of millions with a little additional cost ....

Absolutely true, But, it is the left who are master in such WWF. Their entire plan and program is a WWF against USA, with a term imperialist. Look at Karat. No link with people by himself, but claims champions of peoples bettement. Looks like a capitalist, with a film star like look wife, performing WWF daily with capitalism, communalism, immoralism and many others. Irony, actual WWF show is popular in USA only.

They will publicly make big talks against USA, their exployting world, poor etc. but privately sent their children to USA spending huse money, to enjoy all beautiful things there and to avial the same by them too annually.
