does anyone care about making online petitions about countless rapes murders and kidnappings in india every day? at least the americans did their job and caught the criminals and sent them to jail without bail...now that is called JUSTICE...
its time Indians start worrying about their own antiquated and corrupt and inefficient law and justice delivery system rather than doing online petitions for other countries which have shown the will to punish the perpetrators..

Mr gradybush, Why are you bringing in Indian system here? Are you saying America can deny justice because the judicial system in India is not good? So with the same token, India can kill a student from Somalia and turn a blind eye because, he would be traeted the same way in his/her country? Please think before you post and aim high. Goal should be to become the flawless judicial system and not just better than other countries. Hope you have brains to inderstand what I am saying.

This demand for Indian government to do something is completely stupid.The Indian government cant handle the law and order in their own country, what do these students expect them to do in US, provide SPG cover to all students. The Indian students should know better, they have spent most of their lives here.Now they are in US they are at the mercy of the host nation. One good thing out of all these killings is that it drives home the point that u can get murdered anywhere and the US with all its hyped law enforcement system is no great exception

You are right, when I came to US I knew that I am on my own, and its totally my risk.
But then Indian govt shouldn't come to ask NRIs to invest or anything like that, we shouldn't be asked to pay taxes when we come back since it was all our investment to earn and other things.

indians are ungrateful...at least the authorities did their job and caught him and had his bail also rejected. we dont even have the will to punish terrorists in india and so we have no right to crib about the american police and judicial system which is far more fairer and just than ours, as is evident from this episode.

I dont think indian students plea indian govt for their safety. when they are in others country they should aks that country respective govt for their safety and security. above all, indian govt cant save its own people in its own country.. forget about saving others life in different country. by the way. I am indian student in abroad as well. once I get my citizenship. I am gonna withdraw my indian citizenship.

It is because the education of these universities is not unrecognized any where in the world except countries like Africa where the education is even more sub standard. Indian education is on old values and no research etc in modern aspects is taught. Any one who graduate in India like doctors. lawyers have to sit a one year refreshment and pass a test before they can practice. That is one of the reason to go to foreign country. education in a foreign country is expensive compared to India but is worth every penny in long run.
Most of Indians going to west are greedy lot...they will never help even their fellow Indian..they follow caste system...they bribe all their way..they r corrupt..they are selfish..jealous and have no national feeling..all they want is DOLLAR and GREEN CARD...so if a few get killed...does anyone bother.....

Most of the people go there to study because after studying there it is very easy to get a job.
90% of the Indian students who come here are from Andhra, and most of them don't even have a good enough answer why they came here, they answer like "because everyone else was doing it..."
Trust me buddy anyone who thinks like that about his life wouldn't have been ANY benefit to India.
