who is this 'genius' mathematician who has reported that $400 million is Rs.16,000 crore and $12 billion are Rs.48,000 crore! And how can rediffmail publish this is a bigger surprise, where is the editor?

400 million is actually 1600 crore, roughly, but 12 billion is indeed 48,000 crore, once again roughly. Nothing wrong in the second convertion......

and thats not teh end of it. the trade and gdp figures are outdated, government investment figure is as much as their gdp and worst i cant believe that the forex reserve rose from 800 billion to 1400 billion in less than a year. the writer must be a delusioned freak.
