Obama Wins in IOWA
by Rajesh Vyas on Jan 04, 2008 10:56 AM  | Hide replies

Sir: This victory of OBAMA was certainly unexpected and it is refreshing to know that a conservative State like IOWA has given him victory.

While it is too early to say if a Black or a woman cane become President of the U S, it certainly refreshing and it appears that winds of change have started blowing in the mighty U S of A.

ALL THE BEST TO OBAMA-- THIS WILL BE THE BIGGEST EVENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE U S OF A

Bush lost both 2000 and 2004 elections. Elections were rigged in favor of Bush. Read "Armed Madhouse" and "Best Democracy Money Can Buy" by Greg Palast, BBC journalist.

Obama speaks
by sam on Jan 04, 2008 09:47 AM

Obama is currently basking in the victory and I am hearing his speech live. His voice carries a lot of conviction. As he talks he looks into your eyes. Clearly the most passionate among the rest. whether he will make a difference and bring about much needed change in US politics remains to be seen.

exactly, as carolina might not be as supportive to Obama despite a black majority. And Hillary Clinton would score in new hampshire where ethnic issues are always a distinct undercurrent. It is said tht new hampshire is a microcosm of broad american opinion.
