Mr Talbott, Do you know?
by Y Singh on Feb 26, 2008 06:17 AM  | Hide replies

Mr Talbott-
We all know that we Indians look more like a idiotic confused state always on any issue whatever in any international community. If something occurs for a good cause, your senators vote usually on their sense or morality across party lines on any issue but a similar situation in our great country is rare. Opposition parties by default will find fault with anything. And, we have a China factor which is surprisingly absent in your country. Here we have a bunch of Chinese dogs who always bark if the nation appear to gain something in particular if China is not benefited even in its mildest form directly or indirectly. Can you believe they took the side of our neighbor who did aggression in the past? They even begged for their soldiers - a classic example. Don't be surprised - we do everything in our tiger like way which may seem idiotic, irrational and funny. Don't feel bad if our parliament appears to be full of jokers to you. They can't allow live telecasting of the parliament sessions; they are afraid if we learn something from their intellect. Some of them are kinda educated also (really, trust me - from UK/US degrees/fellowships - just a question, are they nowadays easily available in your country also? - here in some of our states, they are on sale). I guess you guys are a total flop against the Chinks in this regard as you could not prepare a force against these Chinese dogs.

Agree with you Mr. Singh . In US for a good cause senators vote forgetting the party politics. Here in India , we lack pragmatism. If and when Nuclear deal fails, we are going to be laughing stock in International diplomatic circles. Why the hell so much pressure has been put by India on negociations, if we cant convince our own people about the deal.In future, other countries will be hesitant to sign any agrrement because even if you sign a agreement in Washington or Heague some narrow minded politician in the bylanes of Trivendrum or Calcutta can de rail it. How many more generations needed for these 2 states to wake up. All the educated lot from these places seem to have left for good and same old brigade is still waving red flag.

India does not have substantial alternate sources of energy.. There is hardly any other option available outside India to provide energy for fast growing economy. Increase load shedding in West Bengal .. that will put some sense in the empty heads of commies.

India is growing so fast.US don't like India's growth. So they are approaching our Govt. with this trap.We don't need this deal. We have lot of other sources to produce power in India. If our Govt. has no brain, sure they are going to fall in this trap;wait and see.

If Communists want to withdraw support from Congress, then why donot they act now ?
If N-deal is signed by MMSingh and they withdraw support, then they cannot stop the deal.
Actually Communists are playing a false drama. Basically pure honey-sucking Honeymoon is going on.

Depending on US?
by Indian on Feb 25, 2008 08:30 PM  | Hide replies

If signing the deal makes us dependant on US and other countries who are going to provide us fuel...then its a big no. Think of the day when there we have to depend on the other countries for electricity. We will have no option but to agree to their demands.

Also I never used to believe in left parties...I used to think that they just oppose a issue and then ultimately support the govt...but they proved me wrong with the nuclear deal.

RE:RE:Main political parties of India, Congress and BJP have been imposing American globalization on Indian people for last 15 years. Both of the parties claim the economic policy has 'human face'. The truth is that nobody sees any 'dog face' even.

Sahadevan KK , You want India to look like Vietnam, Cuba, or North Korea? No matter how loud you cry America have far greater influnce around the world compare to any damn communist nations on earth. And US is the richest and provide its citizen with the highest standard of living. I rather take them as a model not your CHINA OR RUSSIA. Freedom and democracy comes first. TELL ME HOW MANY INDIANS ARE MIGRATING TO CHINA and RUSSIA? WHY ? UNDER COMMUNIST SYSTEM THERE IS NO OPPROTUNTY.

If India don't seal this N-Deal then it will be impossible for India to get Uranium for New and old Nuclear plants.
Indian Scientist need next 50 years of research for making Nuclear plant by using Thorium it is still a dream.
Without signing Nonproliferation Treaty India can't get Uranium for Nuclear plants from any country in the world.
Australia has the world 60% of uranium reserves.
And without USA concern no one in the world will give uranium to India.
It is the best time for India to use USA and get uranium from his allies, after 20 -30 years India become so capable that it would not need USA for Nuclear plants.
