Why muslim scarifies animals on baqr-eid. I'm a hindu and in Hinduism also we were sacrificing in the name of god. it is no more in practice and if it is done then I totally oppose it because you can't make god happy by killing a living being and it is inhuman. Can any muslim friend please come forward and answer me? I would appreciate that. Please answer logically, if you talk illogically taking your holy book as reference then it wont make any sense. I'm not waging a war here. Just need a clarification. but your answer must be justified with all the facts.

It has been scientifically proven that even plants are living beings just like animals and people. even the molecules in the air are living and we kill them by breathing in. this is how we all survive. If killing goats is wrong, then so is eating plants and therefore we must not eat anything and starve ourselves to death. Can we blame a lion for killing a goat for food? No, because it is their way of suviving just like our way of surviving is killing and eating animals and plants(which are also living creatures) and a goats way of surviving is to amputate the roots of living plants and gobble them up. Therefore, it is justifiable for humans to eat non-veg(including goats). When Muslims sacrifice goats of Eid, a third of it is for the family, a third for friends and neighbors, and a third for charity for the poor, many of whom suffer malnutrition and benifit from Baqri-Eid. So, the sacrificing of goats is not inhuman.

Islam used to represent the whole Africa as the main religion and there were 30 African languages that used to be written in Arabic script. The number of Muslims in Africa has diminished to 316 million, half of whom are Arabs in North Africa. So in the section of Africa that we are talking about, the non Arab section, the number of Muslims does not exceed 150 million people. When we realize that the entire population of Africa is one billion people, we see that the number of Muslims has diminished greatly from what it was in the beginning of the last century. On the other hand, the number of Catholics has increased from one million in 1902 to 329 million 882 thousand (329,882,000). Let us round off that number to 330 million in the year 2000.
As to how that happened, well there are now 1.5 million churches whose congregations account for 46 million people. In every hour, 667 Muslims convert to Christianity. Everyday, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. Ever year, 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity. These numbers are very large indeed.

It is something everyone should know. Science don't go hand to hand with religion. Science don't believe in existence of god. Science believes in fact and not fiction. So be in any religion science doesn't endorse it. Science is beyond religion based on true fact and no religion has any patent on science. There is no need to write pages after pages, because the world is not blind, but the followers are blinded. We can see the contradictions what is written and what is practised. Those who do not know the truth can be fooled but those who know the truth will run away. Is is not true that you can have only 4 wives while your prophet had about 13/14 wives, is it not true that your prophet married a child of 6years old, is it not true that you can beat your wife, is it not tru that you can kill your own brother, sister, father, mother if they leave their religion. it is not true that you can kill non-believers and you are rewarded heaven. is it not true that you can have sex and wine in heaven, but not here on earth. ALL THIS IS IN THE HOLY BOOK. SO, I REQUEST ALL MY FRIEDS&MUSLIMS TO READ THEIR HOLY BOOK AND REASON AND DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES WHAT IS WRITE AND WHAT IS WRONG.

I have a simple question to everybody on the forum. Who is the witenss to the Prophethood of Mohmad. Who saw that Allah sent mohmad or mohmad being annointed as a prophet. One Witness please. As per my knowledge goes, it was all mohmad who declared himself prophet and started talking abt islam.If there is no witness then tomorrow even i can say i am the prophet. If i have veg available ... why would i want to unnecessarily trouble the poor animal ... if not available also i would try not to harm ... but i am not sure what would happen ... if i am starving ... maybe i will eat it ... feeling sad inside ... or maybe i will eat it feeling ... i had no other choice ... can't tell ... until that moment arrives ... :) ... so Vegetarian by choice ... rest is unknown !!

As to why i wont prefer animals over plants is simple for me ... dun know how it is for u .. u can try ... next time u go to a butcher shop ... observe the process of life leaving a animal (Be near to ur heart/soul)... and do the same for a plant ... u can try plucking a fruit ... the decision remains with u for what to prefer ... for me it turned out this way ... for u it can't be other way ... coz we r the same buddy! physically humans and loving energy on the inside ... Jesus, Budha, Mohammad ... and other such souls where early flowers of consiousness ... they tried to trigger the process of human awakening ... There sayings benefited many and brought about positive consiousness ... MAterialistic tings were added to them ... and had to be added to gain egoic power ... position by various who were involved ... knowingly or unknowingly ... the mind is very clever afterall ... even when u right these posts ...reply to each other ... ur mind works behind ... and wants to prove ur identity right and others wrong ... u seperate urself from others unknowingly ... its a long discussion ...
