He is good at twisting the facts...remember drama during his last India visit by phoning M'sian Prime minister in-front of Indian minister Ravi? He tried to prove "no ban" but whole world knew Vellu lieing..
It is mainly the indians who migrated from india by sea who changed the country called malaysia into a civilized wonder it is today, from deep jungles to posh cities where tourists come and go today. But the indians who are the true sculptures to this nation are sadly forgotten today and ethnic injustise prevails here sadly. It is a shame if any nation forget its dark past and remember only the pleasent present status.Do not forget the sweat and blood of those who changed the jungles into wonder cities and civilization.

Shobana I think you need to check out the facts before posting such comments. It is not the Indians but the chinese who have developed the country. If it would have been the Indians, India would have been far superior. And all you hard working Indians who developed Malaysia got paid for the work. There is no thing as free lunch. They should develop India rather than moving around developing the world.

well said. in usa, obama, the most popular presidential front runner always is careful to thank civil right leaders of the past without whom he wouldn't be a cadidate today. interestingly, the white voters approve of this acknowledgement despite the fact that many oundits think it could be potetially be divisive and turn-off white voters. your post is appreciated.
See the contrast in treating the problems of law and order. In Malaysia (truly euthanasia) where there is ethnic problem, the only Indian minister is promptly whisked away. Here, Raj goes on rampage against our own countrymen and roams around FREELY for days before being arrested. Why? Because Mr. VD had to get 'permission' from Soniaji(?), Home Ministry, justice dept. And then he says the police was doing its job in arresting him. What a joke!

I guess you misunderstood the whole thing. The minister was whisked away for his own protection, he wasn't being arrested.

Well, my dear Vijay, the fact that the minister had to be taken away from an Indian function to which he was invited (rather than breaking up the group of malaysians that was protesting against Indians) speaks volumes in itself, no?

Well, I stand corrected. It was indians themselves who heckled him. Still, they seem to know how to take care of law and order - something still alien in our country.
