Why the governemtns should use the taxpayers money for building the houses for poor. Rather it should create the environment for the industries to come up and provide employment. So that poor always do not have to beg for food.

We can see a ray of hope in Modi. During his elections, he never said he would provide the poor with TVs,Gold, rice for Rs. 2/kilo. He rather insisted on bringing the industries that would provide the employment to the people and they dont have to be beggars all over their whole lives. It is crazy to hear, when politicians say that they are going to provide rice at Rs.2/kilo which is economically senseless. What is the value of "Rupee" nowadays. Even if you spend Rs 15, you will not get rice. these politicians are costing the tax payers lot of money. The people should realise that, these politicians are not paying from their packets, rather paid by the people itself. Indians are economically illeterates. You should learn from USA a lot. with somany adversaries climatically, still they could achieve a lot because, they dont give any thing for free. rather they make the people economically sound to pay for the expenditure.

It does no good to the living standards of the poor. Take for example, Gujarath, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. they have moderate literacy but could achieve higher standards of living. It is becuase of Literacy going hand in hand with industries/Employment. 100% Literacy does no good to the people. We should take a huge compaign against rediff for publishing these types of useless articles.

It is better having the 100% illeterates with high moral values than a village with 100% literates with no moral values. I mean no offensive to the village. Only want to say 100% literacy with 100% employment(atleast 50% employment)is good to avoid highest suicide rate in the country. What happened to Kerala with 100% literacy with no employement/industry? It led to prostitution, highest suicide rate, highest migration to other states and country, and on top of it, no moral values among the mallus.

Really thats a good news. In order to avoid high rate of suicides in Kerala, which has the highest rate of suicides among the literates , the education should be employment based. The best thing would be handicrafts based industry, that will provide the employment to the educated people

If you see Kerala films, the hero is the one who insults and abuses the woman protagonist, he proves his maculinity by sneering and demeaning women characters and singing or talking in weired accented hindi ! I have noticed this especially in Mohan Lal's films. For all its so called social developments, men still have to learn to behave like modern men instead of primitive cave dwellers.

Santhosh,

I agree to the second oiint to certain extent, that Tamil songs are sung in competetions in malayalam channels.I knwo teh programs you mention here, those songs are fast songs, in malayalam fast songs and those item numbers kinda songs are very less. So you will see lots of other lanuguage songs.

When it comes to semi classical and melody, its 90% malayalam songs and some Ilayaraja songs. Infact I have seen some singers sing Telugu, Pajabi, benagli songs as well.

The point about malayalam films are mix of Tamil and Hindi, its a joke. those who know abot serious movies will tell the truth. perhaps you can ask peopel ike Kamal Hassan and Mani ratnam..

Your comments are appreciated

My experience in IT has been that all places like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, where IT has come up, has messed up the lives of others. So how do you define 'development'? Its only in Kerala where the people in abject poverty are comparatively less. I have seen that things are still slightly less costly too in Kerala. All states have their own problems. Kerala still is a nice place to live, despite its scams, controversies etc, which are there everywhere.

because, the mallus in the begining beg industrialists to set up the industries. once started, they show their real mallu talent and start causing the issues and doing strikes, screaming for their rights on the companies and so on. So Industrywallahs aware of this mallu culture dont risk setting up the industries and get headaches. Even anywhere in the country, they are wary of this culture and try not to select them during the interviews. They are like weed to the development with primitive brains.
