Mr.Syed Hussain, the religions are basically meant for controlling the gullible masses and for achieving the narrow agenda of the Priestly Class (and now Politicians also). No religion has ever stopped people from committing crimes. No religion is better than the other.
the story goes... chandra mohan is married...has a wife ... is in love with another women... wife not ready to give divorce...2nd women wants him to mary her... he becomes a muslim is allowed to marry the other women...the other women is his legal wife now...if he was still a hindu the 2nd marraige would be illegal... just speculating

Not so smart. A converted Hindu cannot avail of the facilities under Muslim Personal Law as per one Supreme Court Judgement. Prior to that judgement, there were lots of such cases (conversion for the purpose of marriage). I had heard that even Dharmendra and Hema Malini had converted to Islam for the purpose of marriage!!
In India, the father is given too much importance, almost as if he is God!!
He is not God, just a man..."disown" assumes that a father owns a son in the first place..... I don't think a Father owns a son.......in family ties, no one owns any other person in the family.
So, if you don't own anyone, the question of disowning someone does not arise...

unlike in the west.. there we have ur children and my children beating our children, we still have something called 'family' and this is a saving grace...
It is unfortunate such things are happening and dividing the family ties. Although, it has been reported and some action taken by the leadership to remove him from Dy.CM post, there are several case of such instances in various political parties. Some how it has beocme a fashion with celebrites, reputed in public personalitites, politicians to have connection with ladies other than their legally wedded wives. Some people resort to this to show their masculinity and some to show their capacity in maintaining another family. It is true that politicians, teachers etc., should lead pious life and set example to others. P.S.R.SWAMI
Look at our politicians, they are just GREAT. They become politicians so that they can screw any female they can. I still feel this guy is better than others. He has the guts to openly do what the others are doing under cover. Keep it up CHAND!!!!!!. Keep your flag up!!!!
