A good exposure for the Indian Army
by Rampal Singh on Sep 20, 2008 06:50 PM

Dear sir,
I find it a wonderful exercise and a good exposure for our army personnel. As for as the fear of exposing our skills it is vice versa. Moreover our defence forces are capable and know better than anyone else what not to reveal to others

engaging other advanced fighters
by Guest on Sep 07, 2008 11:24 AM

I totally agree with srijith that engagement should have been sought with F/A-18 and its various versions too. But the F-22 will be under wraps, for such scenarios, for a while. Maybe we should ask for the F-35 the next time....

India is a fool
by Dipak Bose on Aug 28, 2008 03:31 PM  | Hide replies

Iraq like a stupid idiot ( just like India since 1996) purchased Radar from USA, which were jammed up by USA during the Gulf Wars, so that Iraqi Air Force could not even move. This is exactly going to happen to India in future war with Pakistan, when USA will jamm Indian radar and avionics of MIG and Sukhoys. It is stupid of India to have a joint exercise with USA, who has accepted Pakistan as it NATO ally and is supplying every type of weapons and aircrafts to be used against India.

My dear all jets have different set of radars. SU-30MKI has not used the long distance BASE III radars in these exercises to prevent the escape of their signatures to any other country.

Also, we need to learn and sharing is the only way. fear of disuse hasn' prevented us from buying Russian warfare and hardware even though Russia refused help in 1962 afetr chinese aggression and still remains party to border dispute.

The photos are excellent. Flying machines are superb. SU 30 is an excellent machine. Our pilots are best in the world. Wish there were some more of the photos. The experience must have been exhilerating for Sagar. We could have atleast satisfied with some more photos.

Nowadays any top range Digital SLR will do it. I will still recommend for Canon EOS 450D if you prefer price versus performance. Advisable to go for Lens along with camera buy as a kit which drastically saves money. For detail of lens of canon u can visit this site and decide on ur own web.canon.jp/imaging/l-lens/index.html
