Five star officers
by Nitesh Jain on Aug 25, 2008 11:19 AM

PMO has overlooked the work of RAW senior officer and this has caused problems for the junior officers. The intelligence is a important part of country security and we seems to be denied this fact. We must understand the junior officers & officials as most of the informations has been collected by these officers. We should look in to their problems. Even the case of Md. Nisha Bhatia seems to be a internal problem of RAW and that can be solved by taking her complaints and solved them as per provisions defined as per their rules & regulations. We should this problem as a common of normal government employee who are working good for their concerned departments but denied the facilities and posting they are qualified for.

Give Trouble Until the Employer Promotes you or Gives you the ''Foreign Posting''
by Kris iyer on Aug 24, 2008 03:39 PM

Since childhood Indian "Culture" teaches us TWO important lessons:
1) how to give trouble to our parents, brothers and sisters - through "non-co-operation".
2) how to deny we are deficient in somethings. Whoever says we need to improve is saying that because he dislikes us, is from another caste, another religion, another region. We never think: "May be there is some truth in what my boss says".
Without these TWO negative lessons, India would have become a developed country, 20 years ago.

The case discussed in the article raises many issues - not all of them against RAW.
1) The lady should have attended the "All Women Committee of Outsiders to RAW". She should have attended the Psychiatrist's Clinic.
2) I disagree with the author when he or she says that a) Ex-parte conclusins are always bad or always against "natural justice". EVEN COURTS PASS EX-PARTE ORDERS b) the Committee and the psychiatrist should have contacted her previous bosses and so on. This was no police inquiry.
In a departmental inquiry the inquirer needs to ask for reliable, neutral assessments, true. But if the Inquirer finds cogent evidence from a number of officers from different departments, not likely to influence each other, and those opinions go over many years, then that is good enough materials for the Inquirer to proceed with.
A departmental inquiry is NOT like a Police Inquiry. The level of proof need not be the same as in criminal cases.

RAW And its Raw Deal to Lady Bhatia!
by D goel on Aug 24, 2008 02:07 PM

D. Goel Pkl. Afternoon, 2pm, Sunday, Aug 24, 2008.
I am convinced that the details of RAW's 11th Floor Estt. has chosen to give the young accomplished Lady Director of training most gruesome torture and one sided denigration calling her to be suffering from some mental sickness, inasmuch as she tried to commit suicide, at PMO's premises, Lately. Of course it is distressful to read these maoeuvrings by Nation's Anti-Espionage Organisation to stymie a senior lady Officer of its Training program, what message of such raw and lurid disparagement by the RAW speaks? Lack of concern for National Interest .
me, is aghast by the total apathy of a senior Lady Cadre Officer from IFS and an IPS Joint Secretary level Officer with RAW ' Estt member that they did not look into her past record or any evidence that could substantiate the Ex-parte opinion about her mental health.I would think this committee needs rectificatory treatment from GOI, itself, before it does more damage to the suffering Lady Officer.D. Bad RAW officials
by Ayyappan Ramasamy on Aug 24, 2008 01:29 PM

If these are all happened, then there may be unknown cases in RAW. RAW do not have good ethics, even in the past. One of the RAW head fleed to US. No unity among them. Instead of doing their important duty, it is too bad that they most happy with politics. It is like common man, doing politics to win over potential candidate.
