ambassadors are nothing but a sofa on a truck
by wizardo id on Aug 24, 2009 05:46 PM

ambassadors are nothing but a sofa on a truck. ambassadors should be phased out.

on the other hand, the cars the politicos are driving are all very expensive cars/ SUVs, so ambassadors arent so bad. but the question is , why spend again and again on cars. each time there's a government change, the politicos change the cars, just becaue the last one lost - and its lucky! (nevermind the fact that the last guy lost because of the current "unlucky" minister who won - unlucky to the outgoing minister!)

by Munna on Aug 09, 2008 04:13 AM

Jhooth bol raha hai ye lalaji Anand Mohan Sahay. Jhooth to aise likh raha hai jaise kauno Bihari iske maa-bahan ke saath kuchh kiya ho. Hum Maharashtra me Sirdi gaye the pichhle saal.Pune se Ahmednagar tak Road thik tha lekin Ahmednagar ke baad road itna kharab tha ki Bihar ka kauno road sharma jaye. Journalism aur Black agenda me farak hota hai. Patna ka Road 1st Class hai. Ye lalaji Anand Mohan Sahay, Lalu Yadav ka aadmi hai aur Nitish Kumar ke khilaf Propaganda ke liye Rediff ko use kar raha hai!!!!

Spend that money on fixing the roads
by Sincere Citizen on Aug 08, 2008 02:22 PM

Nitish kumar should spend that money on fixing roads rather than buying new cars.

Bihar has one of the highest levels of corruption in country and peopel should be demanding new and betetr roads .

The political leaders should also be working to make new roads and repair existing ones.

All corrupt goondas who interfere with road construction/repair work should be considered as enemies of state and dealt accordingly.

Already one honest guys was murdered in Bihar for being honest during road work.

Some one has to have the guts to take a stern stand against this corruption and goondas in Bihar.

bad roads in Bihar
by Aditya Venkat on Aug 08, 2008 01:11 PM

A suggestion - why not get those politicians to walk to work. They dont deserve even a cycle. I wonder why need to drive 'to work', when even after a complete term Bihar wont have any 'work' done for its infrastructure, or anything else. Or for a change they can start using the public transport system to experience what the people who voted for them are going thru.

How abt fixing the roads
by aaaa bbbb on Aug 08, 2008 01:04 PM

Hey honorable Ministers of Bihar,

Have you ever thought of fixing the roads instead of buying ambassadors?

You have govt fund to buy Ambassador cars; but what will the common public do about the bad roads?

If you cannot see beyond your nose or ass, you don't fit to be ministers, better quit the post.

Classic case of a bihari running down his own state

Mr Anand Mohan Sahay,

Looks like you are a journalist sitting in Delhi and commenting about Bihar. Do you know that everywhere in Bihar, roads are being constructed on a war footing, most rural areas have now a road connectivity. Most state highways are being reconstructed and travelling on most highways is more comfortable than earlier..there may be some areas where roads are not good but for a state which has hardly any seen development in last 20-22 years, even if 50% areas have good roads, we should applaud the efforts rather than criticise like an armchair critic.

Thew language used my Mr Sahay can at best be described as cheap journalism and nothing more.Has Mr Sahay ever written a good word about the state and the present govt? The health services have vastly improved, the dropout ration in primary and high schools has gone down, crime though not under full control has been controlled to a large extent, no of people migrating to other states for work has gone down, new educational institutes are being set up ( law institute, fashion institute, management college, nalanda university etc), schemes meant for poor are seeing money being actually given to the needy...

Looks like Mr Sahay has never heard or never read about such things.Whats pathetic is that the writer doesnt know the ground situation and shoots from his wrong place to fool the others".

Does that mean that now we from the rest of the country dont have to put up with hoardes of illiterate Bihari migrants flocking to our cities and creating a law and order problem. Good, hopefully the term 'UP/Bihar being a disgrace to India' shall cease to exist soon. I look forward to a better Bihar so that i dont have to face the embarressment of being in the same country as Bihar/UP anymore.

Focus on Problem Not on solution
by manish kumar singh on Aug 08, 2008 12:28 PM  | Hide replies

In two years ministers found that they can't use SUV's in Bihar as roads in bihar is not good, so they concluded that they should change to Ambesdor again and for that government will purchase new abmesdors. what will happen to the money spent (3 crore) on the SUV's.
Why the bihar ministers don't think to improve the condition of roads? so that they can use luxarious vehicles and the people will also have good roads.

Thoda logic sun ke surprise hue na? Aisa isliye ki ye news jhootha hai. Neither there is problem with roads of Bihar nor MLAs are asking Ambassador Car. This is Lala Sahay's imagination news.

shameless bihar ministers
by kancham reddy on Aug 08, 2008 12:18 PM  | Hide replies

the bijar ministers should feel ashamed for not being able to repair bad roads even after occupying office for more than 2years.instead they still want 6-7crores for their cars.changing the cars is not a sloution to bad roads, instead they must be repaired.what for are they occupying those MP seats, resign if u can't develop ur own constituencies.plz dont make our country bend its head in front of the world leaders for all the dirty politics like breaking mikes, fighting with each other, breaking furniture in assembly.be dignified and be educated.even it's the responsiblity of the people to think and vote for an educated but not the rowdies or goondas or criminals
