Hello All, I can see that how our people are fighting here... Cant we discuss the same matter in other ways... Yes, there are good and bad selections in the above teams... if Dravid or Ganguly is not in the teams then it doesnot mean that they are not a good player. I would rank Rahul the best Test player than Sachin & Ganguly, but on the same time I would rate Sachin and Ganguly also on the same place. Best Indian Captain in India History is no other than Ganguly and Sachin is the all time best for his past performance. I hope everybody will agree with me. Its our bad luck that we do some kind of "dikhawa' to get name & fame like Gawaskar is doing. This is not the fault of our best players. So, request you not to fight with each other.
ICC released a foolish World Test Cricket Team. The great guns committee chaired by Sunil Gavaskar have opted for 8 bastsmen and only three regular bowler naming Zaheer Khan as 12th man. I cant imagine how a test team with just three bowlers can bowl-out opponent team twice. Since gavaskar was batsman hence he might have baised in favour of batters. But it is ridiculous effort. No indian is in playing eleven in the list hence i can imagine this ICC world test team can be defeated by Indian Test team if they play a match between two teams. People like Sunny & ICC body should think once before they try to work out this kind of circus.
What must Tendulkar do to not be hated by his own people? Bengalis, Tamilians, Malaylis, Maharashtrians, Biharis, Marwadis---Sachin Tendulkar is an Indian, he has given his best, his everything playing for India. He has no shortage of money. He can easily retire without having to do anything else, instead, he fights on and inspires the younger generation to show skill and determination. That is the mark of a true patriot and true sportsman..play through the pain, achieve the impossible. Sachin is simply the best.. his past AND PRESENT records state the samething. All you people saying that Sachin doesn't deserve it, please ask yourselves what have you done for your country, whats your contribution to the nation, even if only in any sport?? would you crib the same way if Dhoni averaged as much as Tendulkar did in the England series for the next 4 series'?? You people do not deserve Tendulkar, its times like these when I feel we as a nation love to pull our fellowmen down and love to find faults in our own but cannot accept the success of our own people. A typical Sachin fan....Boss nobody is against Sachin or Sania...People like u r just not ready to accept the change ...Still how much time Sachin requires to guide youngsters...We have not done anything in the sports but Sachin & Sourav are not allowing the others who wants to do something to come up...Sachin is greatest cricketer of India there is no doubt in it but now time has come that he allows other to take charge..if he doesn't want to retire then fine but he should be selective in playing matches...if he plays three oneday and allow youngsters to perform in other four in a seven match series that will serve the purpso of grooming youngsters...Change ur mindset boss and accept the facts...

Vijay patel, Do you really have brain? have you ever used it? Why should sachin give away to youngsters? can you please explain me your logic? When he is playing better than anyone else in India why should he give his place to youngsters? Do you think Indian team is some free reservation that someone is waiting in the line so the person who is already there have to vacate his place. Did sachin ask Kapil dev, Shastri, Srikanth or anyone for that matter to retire so he can come into the team as a 16 year old boy in 1989. NO. He came with his own talent. If there is someone better than him then let him come with his talent not by giving free quota(like our stupid politicans give for SC and ST when they dont have much marks or when they dont know what a doctor job is but will become doctor coz they are SC and ST so they can kill people).
So many domestic tournaments are being played in India. None of the cricketers in the domestic circuit have the talent like what sachin has even today(34 year old he is).
If you are in a job will you resign once you cross 40 just because so many youngster just pass out and searching for jobs? Use your brain idiot. Dont be a junk. Dont be a moron.

show me the one player who is going to tak up sacin's role in the indian team if sachin is retiring today? What has been your biggest acheivement in life when you were 17, 23, 34.. Have you been a forever winner who has never lost a thing in your life? sachin Tendulkar has every right to decide how long and how often he will play and it is not a right awarded by the indian cricket fans but a right earned by his two decedes of hard work that has done india proud. What was the difference between sharjah and the Oval? It is just the lazines and the inability inside each of those people who beleives Sachin is having a cake walk cribbing . Remember each person has the right to decide their life, Sachin has his. No one has the right to complain after the kind of performance he has given.So what abt RD, 4 and 0 in he last wo matches? I do agree Mr Satish, Dravid should have been there instead of Tendulkar. What a performance did he give in the last two matches of the english tour and not to mention his batting style for one dayers. It's a pity that wherever a dream team is rated be it ICC or shane Warne they are always biased, is it not? It's a pity that the whole world is on the other side of the wall? Well, everyone except you must be worng. Wake up sir, we are talking about a one day squad... a captain who declares a match when the key performer is on 194 is the last confidence boosting person we need in such a team. ICC was not looking for a chamcha for a newly appointed coach. They were looking for an opener and by records or recent performances or consistency over the years they could find no one better. This time just go by statistics and prove me wrong...and your words abt this whole affair reminds me of an old story... of the fox who did not get the grapes....
ganguly,shewag,dhoni,yuvraj,kaif,pathan. most overrated ODI players are agarkar, gambhir,dravid,harbhajan. underrated Uthappa. non ODI player is dravid.
I am fully satisfied with the selection but for just one change in the test team. Instead of Michael vaughan, Rahul Dravid should be selected on better average and consistency.

Guys before you give comments. Please understand on what you are giving comments. This is the main problem with India. If someone ask for advice or comments, please will stand in a queue and give without even knowing what the person is talking about.This ICC Test team and ODI team is based on the performance of all players in the world from 9th Aug 2006 till 8th Aug 2007. In this person Dravid played 8 test matches scored only 443 runs with 1 century and 2 fifty with an average of 31.Where as Vaughan scored 546 runs from 6 test matches with 2 century and 1 fifty with an average of 54.60. So vaughan is 23 runs compared to that of dravid. Do you understand now why vaughan has been choosen instead of Dravid.
From now on guys.. Now the topic, understand the ABCD of it, Do some research before blindly saying something.
I like Bengalis for their talent and determination. I have a respect for Bengal culture. It is good to see so many Bengali singers rocking all the musical programmes like Saregamapa and Inidan Idol. Jhulan Goswami another Bengali girl has become best cricketer judged by the ICC. It is a pity that the only captain material Saurav is kept out of captaincy. There is no harm in giving responsibilities to people who deserve it , irrespective of his region, religion or language. Ranadev Basu should also be given chance while so many non performers are carried along by the present Captain Dravid. Forgive me fans.

Very nicely written. I also like bengalis. They follow outdated communism for the last 30 years They do not have any well established industry in their state They do not have any developed city after Kolkata They have very few flyovers in Kolkata and traffic jam is common and results in loss of time Bengalis aim to get a job in Bangalore or Hyderabad after their higher studies. Many of them learn music in order to find a place in Mumbai Unemployed youth is maximum in Bengal and they become CPM goons for earning a mere Rs.5000/- a month. Bengal is the most corrupt state in India. Many people come under low income groups and they become thieves in order to buy their meal Bengal teachers are the worst ever people who behave like CPM goons. I shall come back and talk more about Bengal and their culture later. The intoxicating things are taking me over.

He is so bad now he is influencing the ICC also. He would have bribed the commitee. Darvid is better captain than Ricky. Youngsters were not given chance because of Tendulkar. ICC is bad because they select Tendulkar. Tendulkar is making a lot of money and becoming rich and all rich suck the blood of poor so Tendulkar is a blood sucker also. When he scores India loses when he does not score India loses SO SACK HIM. No youngsters in domestic cricket has average near 50 its all because of Tendulkar because they watch Tendulkar and want to hit shots like him and get out. Stop thinking about this crickets only. There are many who work for the nation some are identified some remain unidentified. He has earned lot for his own purpose. This person is expert in giving lost match to India but there are some real Indian hero's who lost their life for protecting nation. We must salute them, we must respect them, give award and reward to them. These crickets are earning lot by not only playing cricket are earning tooooooo much by advertise also.
